[FM 16] Ottoman Empire

I've been working on a new database for FM. A new league anyways. I decided to put all the former countries of the Ottoman Empire into one. I haven't been able to make a NT for it, that would just take too much work, so I'm just keeping it part of Turkey right now.



So the first thing

As you can see, as long as I have this database loaded, the countries in which the clubs were part of the Ottoman Empire aren't playable. I'm not sure how to fix this exactly, I know there is a way, and I'll try to figure it out but its not really one of my biggest priorities.



So anyways, here are the leagues in order.

I will eventually make a file available for download. Currently, I'm just testing the league to see if its alright, but there is a lot I still need to do such as adding the prize and TV money, making all the transfer windows.

i know i've said it before but a fair few of those teams, particularly the ukranians, wouldn't be in an ottoman league

also an ottoman flag instead of a turkish one might be a nice touch?

Currently some of the things I have to fix before I make it available for download is:

- Make the African and Asian clubs European so they'll be eligible for the UCL
- Add the main transfer windows (January and Summer)

I finally managed to get the database uploaded. Mediafire wasn't cooperating, so I used dropbox instead.

Its the first beta. I would appreciate some people helping me test it if you've got FM 16. Let me know if you want to help test it, post here who you're starting with, tell me in this thread what you like, don't like about the league, any glitches you've encountered, and what I can fix or add to make it better.


This first beta has:


All the African and Asian sides should be able to qualify for European competitions

8 divisions, I plan to add 1 more with Eritrean teams


To download it, extract it to "editor data" in the FM 16 folder. To get there, you should see a "sports interactive" folder in your documents. Open it and go to FM 16, and then go into editor data. That's where you want to put the file in. Once you're done, the game will ask you if you want no databases, all, or "custom" select custom and select the Ottoman 2 database. Then when you're selecting the league's, Turkey is the league you'll want to select as thats where the Ottoman's will be played. Also select any other leagues you want to load up, although keep in mind that Greece, Ukraine and other Ottomans will be corrupt as they are now part of the Ottoman league.
