Found a better way, if you press the "FM" drop down and go onto "manager chat" there's a chat room there mate.

Its not letting me join here. Can you boot the sheff wed manager out of the game as I think thats the prboblem - it still thinks im there

You can't play FM without Steam, so no. Well, unless you have a pirated version, and you're forfeiting any online play with that anyway.
