I've just spent the summer transfer window buying a handful of 'wonderkids' so that I can have them as home-grown and then I realised there was no point because I'm going to move onto FM16!

Now at that stage where interest in the game is lost knowing the new one is only a couple of weeks away.

Well, League 1 was fucking easy...

As you can see by the goals for and goals against columns, I just went with a we'll score more than you policy!

Tried our very hardest to fuck the title up at the end of the season however, as you can see below.

Things slightly went apart after the Paint Pot final, we secured promotion against Sheff Utd I think, and after that, the lads just couldn't be bothered anymore by the looks of things, luckily we still won the league regardless of that due to us playing so well previously to that. Our battering of Peterborough's GD helped too.

This lad was my star all season, did well in League 2 on loan and he got released from his parent club, didn't think he was good enough so left him for a bit, had a bit of a crisis up front, signed him due to familiarity, and never looked back.

My first trophy as a manager came here though! Fantastic run, some of which you can see in my fixture post. Easy.

Onwards to the Championship with Crewe it seems! Unless a better offer comes in, I'm staying here, I cannot see the Championship being as easy mind you.

As for the other competitions, FA Cup ended in the third round at home to..... Colchester . League Cup was a 1 round thing, lost to Derby in the first round 2-1 at home. Squad needs serious reinforcements though to attack the Championship, might have to rethink my score one more than you tactic too!

Saddens me to announce that I have left the Crewe job, as an opportunity came up for me to completely skip the Championship and go straight into Premier League management with the Championship champions Cardiff City!

My long unbeaten run and not conceding run in the league has come to an end!

Now - I'm not one for making excuses, but having my two centre backs injured, my defensive midfielder who is infact my captain suspended and my influential midfielder out with flu, and going down to 9 men in the game, I think I can be let off.

All is going well, I look set for promotion, but injuries and suspensions have been harsh on me this season. Had to make the most of the loan system and get in the maximum 8 loans I could get, just to make up the numbers and fill in for injured players.

Should be home and dry now as for promotion, with the gap I have created, and the majority of my players are OOC this summer, so I'm letting the majority of them go, as I have aspirations of back to back promotions. Again, I'll leave you with the table.

I hated the new interface when I started my first save on FM16 today but I'm used to it now. Had to switch it to the lighter skin which most people seem to hate.

So far with York we are performing above expectations and in 6th in the league. I've only played 6 games mind and it's taken since mid-day due to getting used to things but it's still a promising start.

Continuing with my United career, Memphis is continuing to be an absolute beast for me, since the start of my file in 193 games he has scored 112 goals from left wing (mostly). 17 games in and I'm on 38 points, 3 points clear of City in 2nd with Liverpool in 3rd a further 3 points behind but a game in hand.

2nd season at Forest, after losing out in the PO final in year 1 (a few pages back).
About a dozen players automatically loaned out in the initial season came back, non of which were particularly good bar one or two (Djamel Abdoun and Louis Laing, both of which eventually left, Abdoun wanting too much and Laing for not playing enough) and throughout the season most of the deadwood of Matty Fryatt, Majewski and the like all departed; some moaners who weren't getting game time changed their tune as we did well in the league but their days are numbered, Dexter Blackstock, Andy Reid...
Transfer wise there was very little on offer in terms of permanent signings, I had about £3m to spend which went almost entirely on a sporadic Yaya Sonogo, on free's were Ryo Miyaichi, a disappointing crock and later in the season, a good one paper goalie from Boca who in reality kept hardly any clean sheets, Agustin Orion, plus some kid from Birmingham who had to spend the year at Hamburg having not qualifying for a work permit.
The bulk of the team was made up of very successful loanees, Hector Bellerin, Brad Smith, Nick Powell, Saul (January signing from Atheltico) and Isaac Success, a young striker from Grenada who got into double figures.
I had a steady start but pundits were asking if I was nervous, despite never being below mid table during the first few weeks. By autumn we'd clicked and in a tight league we jumped around the top 4 until spring time, when ourselves and Watford pulled away to go up automatically. Cups were disappointing, beating the likes of Villa and Spurs to then go out to the likes of L1 Sheffield Utd. Assambalonga bossed the league again with 30 odd and Kelvin Wilson and Jack Hobbs were solid at the back, we finished top scorers in Kevin Keegan 'we'll score more than you' fashion.
It's not yet the new season but I've brought in German Timo Horn in goal and Ryan Colclough from Crewe to bulk up the youth team, £16m budget of which about half has gone on one first teamer, it's too early to say if I should have spread the cash out.

This season at Crewe is frustrating as hell, I've had to abandon the score more than you tactic in favour of a if you can't score you can't beat us tactic after a 5-0 demolition at Leeds, since then we've drawn 1-1 with Sunderland, knocked Premier League Hull out of the League Cup 2-1 AET, beat Wolves 2-0, lost to Middlesbrough 1-0 and drew 0-0 with top of the league Sheff Wednesday, not getting a single shot on target and 2 off target.

The cup run is coming in useful though, as our finances are fucking awful, £1.8million in the red, and projected to be £8.11million in the red by the end of the season. Best part is, I don't really have any high value players to try and move on to get more in the bank either, my highest value player is £1.5million Adil Nabi who is my star striker signed on a free in the summer, followed by my keeper Ben Garratt rated at £1.1million. Due to our finances I can't get my continental C license either, still stuck on a National A right now.

Finances have worsened, we're now £3.2million in the red, projected £8million in the red by the end of the season, board have now cut my wage budget leaving me needing to get rid of £24k per week in wages, no one is interested in my players (it's January) so I'm having to tell my DoF to either sell them for nothing or release them due to the financial situation, all of this despite the fact we're now in the League Cup semi final, and sitting mid table in the Championship. May have to jump ship if this continues, as we're completely and utterly fucked right now.

No idea right now, I've arrested the slide a fair bit now by reducing my first team down to 21 players including 4 free loan players.

I've also just achieved my most proud achievement and most unlikely one ever, which should definitely help the bloody finances...

Even Premier League sides don't seem to be able to stand up to my defend first score later tactic. The two penalties and Villa red card didn't hurt of course.

My run to the final:

Not exactly the hardest, but keeping things tight and getting goals after very much went in our favour. We're in fucking Europe next year, and we're still not exactly safe in the league, though we should be, sat 14th with 45 points from 34 games, and 11 points clear of currently 22nd placed Bolton. If this doesn't improve our finances, I give up.

END OF THE SEASON!

Finished a point outside the playoffs in the end, after the league cup we did amazingly until we had a couple of injuries and due to the aforementioned 21 man side I ended up playing a 15 and 16 year old in the centre of defence and a 16 year old at right back for 3 games for the CB's and 2 for the RB which fucked me up a bit, needless to say.

Championship: 9th, expectations Avoid Relegation.
League Cup: CHAMPIONS W3-1 V Villa, expectations Reach 3rd Round.
FA Cup: 5th Round 0-1 Man United (H), expectations None (reach 3rd round, we started in the 3rd round!)

Millwall finished bottom.

Still not good!! Half of the squad is out of contract too, though we are in a transfer embargo right now due to the previously posted consortium. Would be nice if they take over as long as they keep me!

Well well well what a season I have had with Farsley.

But lets start with the cup run. I beat St. Neots town in the Fa Cup 2nd Qualifying round (via a replay) the first game at home ended 0-0 with me winning the away leg 4-0.

Then into the 3rd Qualifying round I faced a team in the higher divisions in Histon where I was once again drawn at home and after going behind in the 1st minute I thought the cup run was over but it only took another 5 minutes for the legend that is Adam Priestley to grab an equaliser, that's how it stayed and onto another replay and once again I was 1-0 down and this time away from home I though that was that once again but no my players found their determination in the second half to grab 2 goals (my only two shots on target in the game) we win the game and onto the 4th qualifying round where we face top of the Conference North Boston at Home. Now this game on paper seemed impossible and it should have been but we somehow scrapped a 0-0 draw after they battered us for 90 minutes. So for the 3rd time this season we faced a replay away from home, now I was proud of my team for reaching this stage and defying the odds so I wasn't too bothered by the result until the draw for the first round came out and we had the chance to face Bristol City at home with City currently sitting top of the League 1 it was a massive game that I didn't want to miss out on. So into the game I set up slightly more attacking which paid off after the first game we had 1 shot so we needed to improve and we did, somehow we managed a 2-0 win. We grabbed a goal after 10 minutes thanks to summer signing Dereece Gardner then sat back on counter and hoped I could withstand the pressure which I did and after a few changes grabbed the second early on in the second half then sat on the lead.

So it lead up to the massive game against Bristol City my aim was just not to embarrass myself which we didn't after setting up to counter them we went into half time at 0-0 which for me was a success so set them out to keep it up but unfortunately the heartbreak came as Sam Baldock scored in the 63rd minute after attacking later on in the game City broke free and won a corner in the last minute with Derrick Williams headed home. So the cup run ended in the 1st Round with no massive cup upset but we brought in some massive gate receipts which helped.

So onto our actual season and with that cup run I ended up being left behind from fixtures after going into the cup run in the playoffs I ended up dropping down and being left in 10th with 3 games in hand now to the point I had stuck to the 5-3-2 that had served me well from last season and for the beginning of this season but results weren't as good so I brought in some players and made a change to the 4-4-2 this was a great idea as it started a great turn of events that pushed me back up the league.

That 3rd goal was an absolute screamer as well banged it in from the corner of the box.

So, my first expedition into 15 has taken me into the Vanarama North with randomly chosen Brackley. Only three games in but I'm excited for the season ahead after a steady start. I got absolutely tonked in pre-season playing a 4-2-3-1 narrow, which included a 4-0, 5-0 and final pre-season loss of 6-1 to Oxford United. I switched to a wide formation giving my wide AM's a little freedom, tweaking a few things defensively too and things have changed for the better so far.

An opening day 3-3 draw at home with Harrogate was followed by a good point on the road at Nuneaton. I then traveled to the Impact Arena to face recently relegated Alfreton Town where I was a considerable under-dog. My team put in a dogged performance and hung in at 1-1 until the last 20 minutes, where from then on we went for the win - running out 4-1 winners. Star striker Sam Smith is out injured so David Moyo has been stepping in and hes done a fantastic job so far scoring 4 in 3.

My transfer budget is non-existent so I've brought in a couple of average freebies to thicken up the squad. Due to start my C badge soon and get on that coaching ladder. Early days but up and running!

Having a bit of a mare on my Lincoln save.

November of my first season and I'm 16th with a pretty poor squad bar a handful of players. I always find it's a struggle in the first transfer window of a game so I'm going to have to dig in until the summer when players get released and I can move players on. In the meantime, I'm hoping January will provide me with a few loan signings because up to now, my options are loan signings from divisions below who are worse than my current players!

Had to get 10 points in 5 games and luckily I was playing teams around me at the time so I came through that. Had a takeover, too, but nothing changed from a financial point of view.

Haven't quite got my tactics right. Started with going more direct and play of Matt Rhead because passing stats through the squad aren't very good but that wasn't working. I then changed to shorter passing and that didn't change an awful lot either.

Top scorer, Liam Hearn who's on 15 already.

I've struggled with the first season of a Lincoln game for the last 3 or 4 FM's, so I'm not too worried. Looking forward to being able to overhaul the squad in the summer and to be honest, I'll probably only keep six or seven and four of those I signed in the summer!

We're the only 3 in the hunt so going to be close, however I have just beaten both of the other two in my last 2 prem games.

Liverpool have Everton (H), Arsenal (A) as stand out games
Utd have - Spurs (A), Chelsea (H), Wolves (H) as they're 4th atm as stand out league games while also being in the FA Cup semi finals and Champions League quarter finals.
Man City have Arsenal (H) as their only real stand out game.

Essentially a point cushion for the Manchester clubs with Liverpool's poor GD, however I'm still fighting on all fronts with an FA Cup final with Chelsea having seen off Fulham needing penalties and Lyon not putting up a fight in the quarter final leading to being drawn against Real Madrid (other tie is Barca vs Wolfsburg).
