Asshole... From the Conference Premier anyway, your achievement is null. Not a fair test.

3rd after 10 games in the new season. I've signed a couple of really good players but had to trim the squad down to the bare bones to afford them, and all my attacking ones seem to be getting injured. D'oh.

It isn't my fault you've never reached that level.

Anyway, haven't got around to playing my first game back at Wrexham. It's against Exeter, who are 2nd. Scared.

Started one the other week with Wolfsburg. Was given around £20m to spend so brought in Romero for £7m, Balanta for £6m, Anderson on loan and Rodri for £5m. Wanted Doumbia and would have got him cheap but he chose Liverpool. I'm doing well in the Europa League, top of the group after 4 games. 7th in the league, getting decent home results but too many draws away. Dortmund burned me to the ground 5-0 in the last game.

Gonna go with Union Berlin probably for the 50th time on 15. Failed each time, though I'm going to take this one very seriously.

Doesn't work out, I may consider going back to Sestao River.

Signed Junior Sornoza and Christofer Gonzales for Berlin. Canchita was my best player when I managed at Girona and happens to be my second favourite player. Sornoza I've seen and bought on a few teams but I never used his talent correctly and while I doubt him at Striker where I plan to play him will show off his all, I can't see him not doing well there. He has all the stats of an Advanced Forward.

Not quite the homecoming I hoped for with 1 point from 9.

However…why have I never really used 3d before?!

Do you lot find you score more with text commentary than watching the 3D match?

I love it, it's great. Takes up more time obv but this version of the match engine is pretty good, really. Also lets you get a better idea of *why* you're so bad.

Do you lot find you score more with text commentary than watching the 3D match?
No.

Tempted to start a new career game when I've won the CL with Lincoln but I'm not sure I can go through conceding 5 goals a game in the lower leagues again!

Tend to random three and choose one of those, then from there get them sorted/promoted and take over another Club in the shite and sort them out, too. I'm like a football turnaround manager.

Got a save on FM14 with Chesterfield just finished my 4th year.
1st year got promoted from League 2 as champions, 2nd year I just missed out on play-offs in League 1 and finished 8th; 3rd year gained promotion to the Championship after finishing 3rd in League 1 and winning in the playoffs.

Final table in my 4th season:
2yycv91.jpg

Briefly flirted with play-offs at the mid-way stage but due to the heavy fixture list (went to replays in both the 3rd and 4th round of the fa cup) my small squad couldn't handle it. Hit another run of form with about 8 games to go getting within touching distance of the play-offs but all my strikers got injured as did several key player and I ended up playing with fringe and youth players for the last 4 or 5 games.
For anyone that is interested the playoff final was between Forest and Derby with Derby winning 2-0.

So I have taken Wrexham from sitting just outside the top 7 to 15th in the matter of 8 games. Just gone away to bottom side Mansfield who had lost 22 of their last 28 games in all comps, and had lost 10 in a row.

Finished my first season with Yuen Long. Won the Challenge Shield against Eastern and lost in the FA Cup final to South China. Also lost in the playoff final to Kitchee although I'm not entirely sure what its purpose was.

Jorge Ruiz from San Simon was a truly inspirational signing. He's been simply amazing. I'm hoping to sign a few more Hong Kongese players from the bigger teams in order to challenge for the title and a few more foreigners for the Champions League. Iceland seems like a very good place to look for very good cheap players but everytime I try to offer them a contract, they'll sign a new one immediately after and it seems I can't outbid them. Ah, well, I'll just have to keep looking. Nationalizing players isn't an option because it simply takes too long in Hong Kong.

After a bit of a rickety season (including some hastily abandoned new tactics) we have squeaked into the play-offs on the last day, via a 93rd minute equaliser in another game (despite us losing at home to fucking Chorley). I fear this promotion charge isn't long for this world though, as we play 2nd placed Alfreton, who humped us 5-1 in the league a few weeks ago.

Yep, lost 5-3 on aggregate. Tie was over after we lost 3-1 at home in the first leg. Mostly thanks to some absolutely PAP finishing.

Two seasons, two play-off defeats. Fuckin great.

I had an ace young midfielder for one season called Glyn McPhee (SUCH a regen name) but he wouldn't renew his contract because he felt the squad wasn't strong enough to match his ambitions :'( Six games into the new season and he's still not got a club so I'll keep tabs on him and hope for a climbdown... he was our best player.

Doing fine without him, five wins in six and scoring goals for fun (the one we didn't win was because my players were knackered after the first game as a result of my pitiful pre-season training efforts). We're having like 20-30 shots per game but missing a lot of good chances. Centre-forwards are decent, but not the ridiculous 35+ goal kind that other sides at the top seem to have, and our winger/inside forward duo have 5 and 7 finishing respectively... so they're fluffing a lot of easy chances. Oh well, not a lot I can do about that as our budget is maxed out and no-one good wants to come on loan.

Can't stop conceding goals from corners at the near post. Is there *anything* I can do about this?

Started a game on FM 2014 as Portsmouth. The Board want promotion from League 2 but my side doesn't seem that good. Due to a complete lack of wide men for the first time ever I am playing without wingers and a diamond in midfield; full backs raiding forwards to provide the width. I am not sure how I like it but we will see. Simon Ferry looks like he might be a key player. I have signed a decent Canadian right back called Peters a goalie on loan whose name isn't important as he is a bit crap, Mozika to play defensive midfield, a youngster called Randall who may play AM if I get desperate and a young winger Lopez who was signed before I gave up on the winger idea.

I've had 51 shots over the last two home games, scored one goal and lost them both.

Who are the worst English teams, financially, on FM15? Leeds? Portsmouth?

I know Bolton are very bad financially on it. Always seem to drop to League Two/Conference before they get fixed.

How many on target? And are you still Brackley?

My first season. So close :(

Second season started really poorly. I got sacked in December with my side languishing in mid table.

Was out of work a few weeks and then I got offered the Stevenage job. Took that and I'm doing okay so far. They were second bottom when I took over I think and 3-4 points behind the team just above.

I think that's a pretty decent record considering the squad is quite bad and I've also got four first team members out. Eight points clear of the relegation spots and only three games to go. Come on you, errr, steves? Fuck knows if these have a nickname. Tinpot club.

Yup. Erm, not a great deal. Maybe 10-15. I have encouraged all my MCs to shoot less, so hopefully that'll stop them from wasting possession from long range. Quite a lot of clear chances are missed too, unfortunately. Finishing is just bloody awful.

A slight tweak of tactics after this embarrassment has seen us win 5 in 6, with the other being a 3-3 draw after being 3-0 up at HT.

Back up to 8th, and with 13 games to go, it's going to be an interesting end to the campaign. Promotion is expected, lets see if I can deliver..

Unbearably tense in mine. Top by two points with eight games left, but five of them are away, and we're a bit rubbish away. Imagine this season will end in the playoffs again...
