Hi Everyone. I was wondering what everyone's opinions were on Football ticket prices, mainly away prices in the Premier League. I know they capped the away tickets at £30 for this season, but i feel they should go one further and cap at £20 for next season. What's everyone's thoughts?

If they're getting bums on seats at those prices then I don't see them moving it down further. Would be interesting to see the % that is sold for the away end every game. If its high, they'll leave it as it is.

As an Arsenal fan, I would say they should definitely considering lowering down prices. What's the use if your fans got pay freaking minimum £27 for a match, and you end up losing that 1-5 to Bayern. :bl::bl:

I'd say that an artificial price floor will only harm the teams that actually depend upon gate receipts.

Good luck convincing people to support their local team if it's cheaper to get in the away end at Arsenal.

Surely as a society we control prices for food, shelter, heating etc before we worry about the football tickets?
