League leaders Forest took on 18th placed Brighton at the City Ground. Everyone knows Brighton are a good team an try showed that with a fantastic defensive display and probably should have won.
Brighton kept Britt Assombalonga and Michel Antonio quiet and there defence work paid off and chances came at the other end with Craig Mackail-Smith being caught offside numerous times but got into the right areas.
Brighton' Paddy McCourt again made a difference off the bench but it wasn't enough for three points as they moved up to 17th and face Cardiff on tuesday.
Albion keeper David Stockdale looked in top form and made several saves to keep a third clean sheet in as many games.
Key man: David Stockdale
