Our away form is holding us back from being a decent team at the moment. W1-D7-L1 never known anything like it. We have simply struggled to put teams to the sword away from home, Tuesday being a fine example - missing 5 golden chances for a second goal and then letting one in from a corner. We've wasted so many chances away from home, the one game we did win we was 3-0 up at half time. At home it seems to be the opposite - we've killed most teams off.

We're due a slip up at some point, 12 games unbeaten in all comps but half of them are draws away from home. Northamptons home record is quite good, can't see us winning. Should take around 1k - sold all the tickets behind the goal and now been given part of the stand on the side.

Jackett should really change one or two, thats going to impact us if we don't rest one or two when needed. On the plus side our strikers are at least scoring regularly even if they are missing chances......

Blimey that’s a different away record isn’t it. Think we’ve won 4 on the spin at home so should be a tight game. Good to see you’re fetching up a good away following.

Just looked and we’ve got the joint best home record in the division along with Exeter and the Poolies so this’ll be a good test

Best thing we can hope for is a point if Bradford are really bad.

Looking at the Bradford team, Canavan will no doubt get booed even though he's better than our perma - injured 2 centre backs, Sutton is injured yer say? good player. Songo'o, headless chicken at times and on the bench the Incredible Sulk Eisa (but scorer of great goals), and Gillead( a midfielder who isn't injured or powder puff!)

From DC’s press conference it seems there might be one or two changes but sounds like they may be tweaks more than anything. I expect Walker will come in and potentially at the back maybe Legge. If we stay with the three at the back I wouldn’t mind seeing Ryan Johnson come back into that LCB role. Haven’t seen much of him so far but this could be an opportunity for him now.

Ryan Johnson has looked way below capable so far I would be nervous about that, if Hartlepool are not going to bully us physically I wouldn't change the back line in fairness, defensively despite the one error that wasnt the problem Tuesday night as Walsall barely laid anything on goal either.

I think that’s a bit unfair on him to be honest. The lad has had say no more than 100 minutes of league action all season (not counting the pizza trophy as anything done in that is worthless to me). I just don’t think that is enough to draw a judgement on him especially when he is new to the club and getting used to different teammates. When he was getting subbed early in both his starts it was more due to DC changing formation as well than him being egregiously bad.

It may be harsh but would be very worried about chucking him in for a huge game like tomorrow in the situation we are in with needing to stop the rot before it sets in.

He was terrible against Northampton, did a suicide back pass against Bolton and came on against Sutton to see out the last few minutes with us 3-2 up and got nowhere near anything and we ended up losing it 4-3. I'd favour Legge first but against a smaller strike force like Hartlepool I would probably be looking at it suiting Cass and DJ with Smith the obvious to keep his spot.

I've calmed down from the manner of Tuesday to be more level headed so would lean towards keeping it relatively status quo, they've been absolutely rocketed after that and dragged in on their day off so see if they have the desire to come out and prove a point after that. If they don't really come out all guns blazing then I will be starting to worry about the attitude of them.

I've just read their forum, they are saying Oldham will raise their game against us...... omg how far have we fallen.
Didn't know Barton was a Salford fan?

We are playing a lot better these days and will give you a game.
The trouble for us is that you have weapons we cant seem to handle in physical strikers and excellent wing backs.
Our defence is the clear weak link, but we have so many injuries back there it's not surprising, then the keeper gets a large gash in the head unpunished last night to top it off..
Got a feeling we're going to win tomorrow. Not sure why, we must have about 8 first team injuries, but overall we've been playing some decent stuff recently and I get the feeling we'll go into this wanting to prove a point.

Its blowing a gale on the Wirral. 50 to 80kmph wind predicted for saturday. Most games will be farcical in those conditions and thats without erratic referees getting involved.

Mainly wind the issue isn’t it? Rare to see them called off for that though. Oddly we haven’t pulled the fan zone like we did the other week when it was heavy rain due!

That was down to the pies!

Exeter moaned about it when we beat them a couple of years back. The fact it obviously affected both teams equally wasn’t mentioned.

These kind of conditions are when you find out who the real supporters/lunatics are. They turn up.

Very heavy snow on the hills around here. Settled too. If it stops it could melt in time.

Power cuts in Nailsworth area at the moment, uncertain whether this includes the ground, apparently Western Power are working on it.

3 is the magic number!!
The roof of the 53 year old main stand has been damaged but according to some of our twitter knob supporters this is the clubs fault. Obviously they do not employ anybody who can control the weather.
