A comfortable win today against Oldham then surely the champers will be popped by everyone in Exeter celebrating our title win. I obviously had my celebration last week, but I'll happily join in weekly. Can't believe it happening. utc

County looked knackered tonight, very lethargic after a brilliant away performance at Carlisle. 3 games in 7 days with the injuries to the sqaud, they weren't able to press Hartlepool in the way that they had done so against Bristol Rovers and Carlisle.

Our keeper Townsend didnt make the squad after pulling a hamstring and Clarke went off second half also injured. Cooper came back in to the team tonight but went off at half time, clearly not match fit. Better in the second half with Waite coming on but an error from Dolan for the second game running leading to Hartlepool third goal was game over.

Thankfully there is over a week until the next game against Bradford. We cant afford any more injuries.
That’s worrying that you’re so nackered, we’ve played every Tuesday Saturday since early feb now with it finally ending today ( and we’ve carried 5+ injuries throughout)

Think today Simpson will really find out what an absolute shit tip of a squad he’s inherited.

I’m expecting a comfortable and pretty straight forward Barrow win all be it only by the odd goal, a score line that flatters Carlisle.

Slapped back firmly into serious trouble.

But despite this we still have a chance of staying up, simply because of the miraculous work Simpson has done with such a poor group of players.

Why do you do this?

Just being honest. We have a chance of staying up now, I’d be foolish to state otherwise, but it still wouldn’t surprise me one bit if this group ended up relegated. They are so poor.

Cumbria Police seem to think this is the Old Firm or something. More police than fans in town.

Watt injured which is a blow. Delfouneso replaces him as he did Tuesday night so will be interesting to see if he plays CM again.

Biggest plus is Vernam back on the bench so with Walker we have two game changers.

Sad news that Jamie Devitt's season is over. Had a positive impact for us, and would have been good to give him a start at Barra
Thought he gave us a bit of control of games alongside Guy. There was a noticeable drop in that respect on Tuesday and I fear it’ll be the same today.

Never thought I’d say this a few weeks ago but big blow losing Martin, bar his error Tuesday he’s been solid at the back. Walker isn’t natural defending but does have that switch ball he can utilise.

Hopefully Hussey and Martin are not long term.

We're already losing at home to a very average Rochdale side.

No win in 16, will be the best side on paper to ever get relegated from this division.

We are cursed.

What a fucking awful game of football this is. We’re just waiting to be beaten here.

Guy going off is a blow. Probably done for the season as well. Midfield looks extremely weak now.

I feel a bit bad wanting a side managed by Joey Barton to stay winning their game, but come on Gas....

Been a game full of commitment. Pereira for them looks dangerous. Bradfords best moment was hitting the bar right on half time and we should have scored when Worrall was put through. Been alright overall.

Some very physical challenges going in, mostly from us I should say. Will be one to keep an eye on as we have a few on yellows now.

Been better than the Gas but due to the dreadful dreadful pass back that he left short they’re 1-0 up and engaging in the dark arts already

Frustrating because we’ve been better

Absolutely woeful us, completely stinking. Carlisle 45 minutes away from the easiest three points they'll get all season.

No idea how we're not beating Bradford here. They're utter garbage. We should be 2 up at least but terrible decision making when through on goal means it's still goalless. Their only chance has come from a deflection from nothing that found its way onto the bar.

Also, how bad have Bradford's fans gone!? Atmosphere is usually great from them when I've been (this is my 10th visit) yet today, it's like a graveyard until they reach our half then they bang a drum a few times and sing the same song repeatedly. Poor showing so far.

Something tells me we needed to take one of those chances because I can't see Bradford being this poor second half. First 15 mins will be key to how the game transpires.

Absolutely awful game between two poor teams.

Somehow we’re ahead despite doing absolutely nothing. A well struck shot from the right that should never be beating Farman. Can only assume his positioning was off because no goalkeeper should concede from that angle at that height.
We’re really fortunate to be ahead as Barroe were presented with a chance 2 yards out that their man put straight at Howard.

Can’t see us holding on playing like this. Big improvements needed second half if we are to have any chance of clinging on.

Not one for the purists.

Did you watch the first half? Your lads will be tucking into their takeaways tonight and we will still be knocking it around in our own half.

Vale just edged it for me, although they’ve been very direct and physical I don’t remember them being anything like that last game against them maybe it’s due to the stand in manager or having Proctor unlike the first game. They got a lot of crosses in put nothing on target, both have had one clear cut chance each they should have scored then we hit the bar. The ref seems to be letting the game flow shall we say, in reality he’s been crap for both teams and should have given far more free kicks than he has but I suppose at least he’s been consistent.

Despite Sutton’s injury crisis sounds like they are well on top first half and deserving of their lead. Rovers only 1 goal attempt and seem to be playing an aerial game against a much bigger opponent.

Yeah. We did nothing apart from that shot that a goalkeeper should be saving. You had a great chance to equalise. I think it’s been an awful spectacle from both teams to be honest.

We are there for the taking and I’m sure Cooper will have told his players that at HT
