Wasn't a bad game for a 0-0 at ours. I can see why Wimbledon have been effective away from home as they defended very well. We are still looking toothless though and nearly threw it away with a brain fart from Sam Foley right at the death. A fair result overall.
fair result about sums it up.
The only thing i'll add is that the Wimbledon No31 wants jailing for crimes against football kits... FFS sort them shorts out

Another Saturday trip back home to watch Sutton, another Saturday questioning my life choices.

The sad thing is we didn’t play too badly. In fact we played quite well in parts. We were on top until we gave away another stupid penalty after 30 minutes. Like last Saturday. Then conceded a soft goal in first half injury time. Fortunately there were a few more minutes left in injury time for Harry Smith to pull one back.

So we come out positively for the 2nd half and put on a great deal of pressure before Ben Goodliffe got a deserved equaliser after 62 minutes.

The real possibility of a winning goal was there, and again we kept up pressure before beginning to tire, and the roles reversed and Morecambe were able to make their pressure count and grabbed a an injury time winner.

Gutted, just gutted.

Blame Stockport for that one, he's on loan from them.

Finally home. Not a bad day in all.

Both teams poor first half but we could of gone in ahead with Mullin's diving header he should of done better with.
Bradford the better team 2nd half. Lots of shots for distance wuthout really troubling too much. I thought a draw was just about fair.
Parky can stay in Bradford if he wants, same tactics every week. Didnt get Lee involved at all.

NIce to play away in a decent ground. Good atmosphere and no trouble.

Havent seen a kid with a mullet for years, easily spotted double digits today, Bizzare

Fantastic way to bounce back

Any idea how long Bostock is out for? I don't fancy us without him long term and another midfielder will be top of the January list

Did not expect us to start the season like this. Two difficult games against the Welsh teams coming up.

Got to hand it to Luke Williams. Notts took a huge gamble on him but he's paid the club back and some so far

All things considered a decent ish game in the conditions last night. Felt like a defeat conceding so late but we just cannot defend. Must have the worst defence in the league. We scored 3 good goals so something to cling to. Need Jameson and Charsley back urgently. A tough run of games coming up so can see us dropping further. Will need a strong transfer window in January and Jenkins will have to splash some cash.

We didn’t deserve to lose and fought well, but for a shocking decision to award a free kick followed by a blatant offside goal.

However, we did lose again and the excuses are now up. Can’t see him lasting the month still but I do also feel like our owners haven’t got the bottle to sack him.
Didn't deserve anything despite us trying to hand you at least a point on a plate.

For large parts we did well today and could easily have scored a couple more given pressure and areas we got into. Sadly playing well also means defending and the 2nd and 3rd were horrendous concessions - we are killing ourselves with goals an U11 side wouldn’t tolerate. Morecambe bang average and were there for the taking, indeed actually thought we would once we drew level. Sigh. Long road back from here. We can probably write off the next couple which leaves us a long way back.

Important victory for County, always important to respond to a drubbing. Gillingham are a bit limited mind, wonder if it will take more than a manager.

Decent day for Crewe Alex. Crawley played some decent football and probably shaded the first half, they put in 2 long range efforts which were well taken. We got a nice move and finish from Tracey.

2nd half was pretty even, but we took our chances brilliantly well, the tactical switch that led to the turnaround was huge as well. Got balls in from out wide they couldn't deal with them defensively. 4 different scorers(technically 3), goals and assists from all over the pitch, 7 wins from 14. Brilliant stuff. Now the big acid test against Stockport on Tuesday where we'll see how good this side truly is.

Nonsense, aside from the first 20 mins it was an evenly contested game. We had more shots and aside from a scrappy winner you didn’t create many if any chances at 2-2

Great day out today thoroughly enjoyed it, with a big away following I was expecting it to be idiots day out all round....But...After getting on my usual train at Todmorden 10.45 I was shocked when it pulled into the station already absolutely ram packed and full of police, I'd never took any notice before where the train we always get on comes from before us, but today I learned it came from Chester, but I must say for a train full of footy fans drinking and on a jolly lads day out I've never seen such a decent and well behaved bunch. Had a great sensible chat with them all journey in. Journey home also very much the same chatted great with Wrexham fans on way home, obviously somewhere today idiots will have been about no doubt, but my sample size experience of mixing with Wrexham fans today was totally not what I was expecting at all, as I've never seen a large away following like today come to our place and just mix in with everybody and just have a drink and chill.

Stockport certainly had all the majority of the calls go their way. On another day Grimsby would have had at least a point. The referee seemed like a rabbit in the headlights in front of a big crowd and his Assistant on the side of the away fans seemed more bothered with his hair and ‘guns’ that actually watching and keeping up with play.
Bottom line is Stockport took the 3 points

Looked a foul to me and the third goal was definitely onside.

Hope Grimsby can shape up soon because they look like they're staring down the barrel of a relegation season.

Certain was but s I said it's what we do after a disappointing loss so far this season.

Bit limited true but only one side before today had gone there and won. So there's that

Did Gillingham not listen to the Mansfield fans on here? You simply have to press us* and we reveal ourselves as National League fodder.

*and hope a few key players are injured

Ahhhhhhh, I was waiting for an excuse for getting spanked last weekend.

I mean Mansfield did not even create a single chance last weekend anyways, entirely gifted 4 goals, all on a plate from a severely depleted Notts County side.

Grimsby were wank and deserved fuck all. You can see why they're down there in a relegation battle if they think that was them deserving something. We barely got out of first gear and should have been about 5 0 up. Only 2 not helped by a fluffed penalty, Goal out of fuck all. Come back from a half time Courtyard chat and they've got a pen and level it up. Fair play- can happen in football and we need to wake the fuck up because that happened the other week vs Crawley. They then decided to take an age over every free kick, throw in which was specifically the instruction of Hurst. I watched him closely. Team going nowhere under him, what has he spent this massive FA Cup money the Grimsby fans were wanking over in the summer?

We found a winner from nothing but plenty still left in the bank from what I've seen us in other games, I think we'd have pressed very hard last 15-20 if we hadn't got back ahead and got a winner another way anyhow.

Just my analysis of the game mate, don't see what's particularly irate about it?

I know a lot a lot of your fans have started questioning Hurst, he's done a great job with you on two occasions but I can see why there are now question marks against him after watching that today.

There's a fair few things I think we need to work on, I would say I am pretty calm about it though. They're fixable issues, the seasons long, we will face issues but I think we have 95% of the tools available.

A couple more wins for Donny and that lunatic fan of theirs who was posting in pre season might be back.

Another pathetic attempt at seeing out a game v 10 men.

Apart from the first 15-20 minutes we dominated Salford. We benefitted from a right soft penalty with an associated red card to take the lead with 10 minutes to go, but yet again we shot ourselves in the foot. Salford looked piss poor yo me. Big game Tuesday home to Gills.
Ref has had an absolute shocker for the pen. Defender just running in same direction, your player bounces off someone who is a complete unit.
Where do they get these idiots.
