I’d agree with that. Thought we looked very leggy towards the end but that’s no surprise given the number of games we have had lately on heavy pitches. Neil Hair was his usual useless self despite his new look Covid hair do with some somewhat questionable decisions both ways. Another win on Tuesday against Harrogate puts us right in the mix I would think.I thought Bolton were unlucky not to get something out of the game tbh and we didn't manage it well after they went down to ten men. However, I'll happily snaffle all the points.
I would advise no aspiring young keeper watches it.Not the best of games very scrappy on a poor pitch stank of mid table mediocrity from both sides i thought happy with the 3 points and thats about it if Adebayo goes we are in trouble.
Chin up old lad!Relegation will officially mean we're the most tinpot of the BELTs though.
Yeah I think Pollock will be a top championship defender and his pace will stop that next step.Pollock will definitely go on to play at a higher level, he's having a tough time at the moment and his lack of pace has been flagged as an issue over the course of this season but there are plenty of CBs playing higher up who lack pace. He's still undoubtedly one of the best young defenders around in L1 and L2. He's fucking massive and well strong for his age and I have no doubts that he'll improve under Hurst.
Yesterday was frustrating, Scunny were the better side for sure however it was only the second goal we can blame the defence for. The other two shouldn't have stood so it's a different game if we get the rub of the green on those decisions.
The run of games against those around us is such shit timing, if we had these games in say March or even Feb it would have improved our chances a fair bit but as is it is it's hard to see us not going down right now.

They're very different CBs aren't they, but yeah Bennett just had that calmness and composure at 17 that a lot of defenders in their prime don't have at this level. Pollock doesn't lack those two qualities but Bennett was just a cut above from the off.Yeah I think Pollock will be a top championship defender and his pace will stop that next step.
He’s the best we’ve had since Ryan Bennett but Bennett was miles better imo.
