Pompey at home for us. Would like to see us build on the Wycombe win, but I can't see Portsmouth losing to Rovers and ourselves within 3 days of each other.

1-0 defeat, probably Sparkes scoring.

Will be a decent crowd and atmosphere either way, with Pompey selling out their allocation.

Urgh not another game.

Seems like Taylor Perry and Dan Udoh are now injured and doubtful for this, without them we’ll make our non existent attacking threat somehow even worse. We’ve scored 14 goals in 24 games, just have to laugh at this point as it’s an embarrassment.

Should be a good atmosphere right up until the time Pompey score their first.
I'm realistic, we beat a poor Wycombe side but this will be a different matter. We will be punished if we are too ponderous.
I predict a 0-2 but wouldn't be surprised if we get something

Blackpool who are poor travellers so you expect we will set up on the front foot and really have a go at them like the Wigan game or second half Boxing Day…

But we all know with Crosby we will assume they are Brazil and start Ryan Loft and gift them a chance.

If we lose this it will get really toxic id think. Fans will expect at the very least a big reaction… Crosby seems to get a result and performance when his position is hanging by a thread so who knows.

Wilson has to start.

A few weeks ago I looked at the game against Reading as a decent chance at 3 points but they, like us, seem to have got their act together a bit, which is a concern.

I've a feeling this will be our biggest attendance of the season (Reading have sold all 1,520 tickets) and Whaddon Road under the lights can be magical. There's certainly no reason we can't win, but I can't get overly confident.

2-2.

Had to read that twice, 14 goals?! Feel like that has gone under the radar. Pretty staggering that you have managed to accumulate 27 points from that goal return. Got to imagine that the second half of the season cannot see that be sustained.

Lincoln away for us. After an absolutely dire performance against Stevenage hoping for a reaction. We managed to score a last minute leveler against Lincoln at Sixfields, hoping we can leave with a point again tomorrow.

We have generally been decent in recent weeks, but we very much need a hugely improved performance tomorrow following Stevenage. No idea what to expect from Lincoln, seemingly not going to push for the playoffs but comfortably better than most, its the sort of level we need to be aiming to sustain moving forward.

Lincoln seem to be in poor form so ill go with a 1-1 draw.

I feel tomorrow is almost "must win" after two bad results in a row. If we can't beat a poor Exeter side convincingly then that's not only going to cast serious doubt on our automatic promotion credentials, but it'll open the door for the chasing pack to overtake us in the new year.

Stevenage away - a bogey team for us on a good run of form and us being poor at taking anything way from the Abbey - was always going to be tough, but with a squad that looked out on its feet for the last ten minutes against Oxford and with no recognised strikers fit apart from a 17 year old, it looks very hard indeed...

I'd bite your hand off for a draw right now!

Northampton for us.

Jackson missed Bolton through illness and Burroughs was injured. Now with Mandroiu suspended, I'm genuinely unsure what we're gonna do in forward areas. Jack Vale's been pretty poor for us but he's better than Makama so surely that's got to be a change?! We're completely snookered really, it's so frustrating because with only one of House or Walker fit and chipping in with a handful of goals, we'd be a) a better side and b) in and around the PO's. At the minute though, we're absolutely mind numbing to watch with zero attacking patterns of play, zero goal mouth action, zero excitement and we can't even manage to win set pieces either.

But that's what you get when you don't have any proper attacking options available and playing people out of position up there who don't know how to play it.

Two games until January...!

Think we were much better than Lincoln last time we played so we can get to that mid table level I think Jord, comfortably. Expect a reaction and some changes, some players looked dead on their feet at Stevenage, Bowie in particular.

I also think a 1-1 draw and avoiding the start of a poor run.

Wycombe at home, we've slowly made some progress in recent games and got some much needed wins on the board.

11th will be our limit, we don't have enough goals in us to go any higher.

We might make one or two changes, I cannot see Darren Pratley starting after doing 90mins Boxing Day and one of our forward players may also get switched. We also lost Tom James and Idris El-Mizouni to knocks and with the quick turnaround they may not feature.

Wycombe now the worst form team in the league, considering that on paper they have IMO a good squad for this level its very suprising, having said that when they beat us 3-2 in the reverse fixture I thought they got away with it a bit, even more so as we had ten men.

Still, we are very much a winnable game for them. Scoring goals still an issue for us.

Wigan away.

I’m going to this but kind of wish I wasn’t. Expecting an absolute hiding by 4 or 5 to be honest.

We are the worst team in the league by a distance and Wigan players will be looking to really put a marker down before their FA Cup game. They looked a good side at Brunton Park and we did well to get a draw, but the difference in class will be far too big at the DW.

4000 away tickets sold so far, so should be a good atmosphere until the first Wigan goal goes in.

Wigan Athletic 5-0 Carlisle United

Another defeat, no doubt cut even further adrift, but another game closer to being able to add some new players to at least ensure we are relegated with a bit of dignity.

Sadly I’ve got no excuse not to go to Brisbane Rd as I only live 20 minutes away.

Nevertheless I go with low expectations - really the best I can hope for is that we don’t give away a shit early goal and the atmosphere in the away end gets toxic.

A lot of the away contingent will probably have been on the razz since lunchtime and won’t hold back when it comes to barracking our own if we do poorly.

Whilst it’s certainly on paper a winnable game, we seem to be blowing those chances left, right and centre, and if we can’t even get anything vs a dire Exeter side then we’re clearly in trouble.

As you can tell, a lot to look forward to.

Wigan away.
Bring it on, few beers in Chorley beforehand and visiting a new stadium.
Played well enough on Boxing Day, Wigan not exactly setting the league alight either.
Expecting to see a tough, close game and no reason whatsoever that we can't get a positive result.

Jesus. The difference in Carlisle fans on here is brilliant but scary at the same time.

Shrews at home. For the first time in ages I’m confident we might get something. Even a win. But that then might mean an 1-0 away win as it’s us.
Prediction - 2-0 home win.

On the one side tonight you have an ineffective team who just pass it around with little tempo and the fans are bored out of their minds / sick of the manager who seems to think this is some grand vision and on the other side you have the same in Blackpool seemingly. All the makings of a real classic this. Think they’ve been hit by a sickness bug through the squad so will see how we fuck this one up.

Ridiculous from Crosby, he’s got starting Wilson and Uche right but to play two 16 year olds in their full league debuts at wing back is absolutely suicidal. CJ Hamilton will tear them apart!

It’s one thing throwing them in for the last 10 with us 3-1 down but to start that is bonkers.

Crosby out!

Sam Sherring, Shaun McWilliams and Sam Hoskins all miss out with injury.

Good news for my lisp, bad news for our team.

Can you put team up please mate, for us none twitter people

FWIW one of them lineups that will either look like genius at full time or insanity. To me it smacks of ‘look Carol I’m promoting youth like you wanted so don’t sack me’. Loft rightly dropped, tbh put a mannequin up there you get more production.

I’m seething he’s hung those two lads out to dry tonight. Hamilton and Dembele will destroy them and their confidence will be destroyed. Unforgivable.

Really not liking our line up, plenty of injuries and it show, not a chance we’ll get anything tonight.

No Udoh tonight for us. The team we’ve put out is horrendous. Zero attacking threat whatsoever. Good news is Tom Bayliss is back on the bench after being out for a while. We’ve got no chance of scoring tonight, best we can hope for is 0-0.

Floodlight failure at Chavenage, useless tin pot Cnuts. Let’s hope the games off and we can go back with more than half a team that we have tonight.
