Today was quite weird and I don't really know what we gained out of today - supposedly a number of players have been missing due to Covid protocols, hence the need for the very much makeshift defence. And we've now lost Potts which appears to be a hamstring injury. Even Jones said there was no really intensity.

Brighton looked ok but clearly there was the jump in quality in key areas. They didn't exactly play us off the park though.

I don’t really know why we re-signed Potts to be honest. He’s always been quite injury prone and to be frank never looked comfortable at the level. I assume he is a cheap back up option for us to have. Hopefully Bell comes back and is ready to go.

No actual reports from our final friendly with Burnley U23s, from what I can gather it was 5 or 6-0 and Riis & Whiteman were on the scoresheet.
