I went along to Woodside Road on Saturday for the Non League Paper, but as always wrote far more than they needed. So here's a kind of match report, which also focuses on the resurgence of Worthing FC under George Dowell.

That stand was falling apart when I went to a Worthing FC match almost 2 years ago.
A town of that size ought to have a team at Ryman Premier League level at least, so it's good to see that they're moving in the right direction.

Another side with a thriving community program thanks to 3G...

It's funny, I don't like 3G, yet I have to support it at this level as it makes a club a real community facility. Nearby (Step 6) Steyning Town open their new 3G pitch tomorrow, and Crowborough Athletic will be laying one in the summer.
