This is live on Sky tomorrow night for your delectation. I would have jumped at the chance for a London train day if it was Saturday still, as would many of us I know - however now it's been moved our away following is going to be pants. Time off work etc, traveling between here and London on a Friday afternoon/evening is hell on earth. Gutted, one of those I was most looking forward to when the fixtures came out. First world problems! *edit 1700 sold apparently, not too bad I guess but could have been better.

Well having picked up our first win in 5 on Tuesday at home to Wolves, and with a few results going our way this week, suddenly Bournemouth moral is back on the up again. Tuesday was encouraging, all the component parts of our best attacking form were there, all be it a little rusty and disjointed. Yann Kermorgant seems to be a man possessed in the centre forward role at the moment and when you have someone like him to play off of, suddenly everything behind him becomes easier.

As ever our defence has at least one or two balls ups each game in it, and Fulham certainly have the attacking talent to exploit that if they get going. At Dean Court Fulham weirdly never really turned up/couldn't be arsed, and we won 2-0 at a canter. Fulham's results seem very unpredictable, they lurk not a million miles above relegation yet they beat Derby the other week, so clearly they're decent when they get it together.

Somehow Fulham escape going behind.

Need to defend better if they're going to anybody a favour tonight!

0-1 to the Cherries, too easy. Pittman in acres slots in from a good cutback.

Bournemouth back to the top as it stands.

Ritchie score a 2nd.

Bournemouth showing why they are at the top.

Clinical despite having less of the ball.

Action packed second half, 4-1 Bournemouth with Fulham down to 10 men. 20 left, could get messy.

Only seen bits as waiting for a plane at Heathrow, but simply incredible.

What a pleasure this season has been

Yet we lose to these 2-0, only 1 week ago...

This season is getting stupid now, no idea who will go up auto right now.

Fulham were absolutely awful, Bournemouth did play well but they didn't have to do much at all to win.

Haven't had a chance to comment on this much since the game. Hard to place how much of that was us getting back on song (as we've slowly improved over the last few games) and how much was Fulham being really poor.

Just like at Dean Court at Christmas, Fulham seemed pretty disinterested and didn't seem to fight second balls or try and get stuck in. Once we have the ball, it was very rare that Fulham would challenge us, and only a poor pass that would give Fulham back possession.

I mean look at that second Pitman goal. Now Pitman has had a decent season, but he's nothing special at this level. He's been useful because he always punishes poorer sides, clinical finisher, but he doesn't make a dent against any good Championship sides. Those defenders made Pitman look like Messi, running from within his own half and ghosting past all of them. Anyone who knows Brett will tell you that he isn't quick in the slightest. Yet he walked through that defence. Not a single meaningful challenge.

Why are Fulham so devoid of fight?

That said we were looking very good again. All the nice switches of the ball, different types of attack and efforts on goal from all different areas and situations. 5 goals and not one of them from our main goalscorer Wilson. The confidence and arrogance was back, taking risks and trying things that get cut out more often than not, but when they work they open things right up. and against this Fulham side, most of them worked. No more of the safety first risk adverse Bournemouth from a couple weeks back. Long may that continue.
