Was going for a draw here but changed my mind, Fulham have been taking a few spankings lately and clearly have defensive issues. They really need to turn it round before they find themselves in the "drop zone".

Bournemouth playing well, in a rich vein of winning form, surely Howe will see this as an opportunity to continue the unbeaten run.

Ouch, bad result for the Cottagers (just glad my club doesn't have that nickname!) , a long hard season in prospect.
As for Bournemouth, what a start to the season, they really seem to be putting that PL experience to good use. Kudos to Howe, he has learned and built his squad to be in a place where they look like long term PL residents. Cant help but like the man.

Watching MOTD, Fulham look on the cusp of total mental collapse. The defenders and goalkeeper look at a total loss for what they're supposed to be doing. Beginning to wonder how you can get promoted from the Championship without learning to defend.

A dull sounding Saints game aside, it looks like I've missed a load of cracking games since being away. Back to normal shortly, so we should expect the run to come crashing down to earth as i resume attendance. Though even if Man utd beat us next week, they'd still be below us

I saw earlier in the season how Lerma and Brooks as additions could potentially really improve on some previous weaknesses, in terms of defensive cover and quality of final ball respectively. Hopefully that's starting to work out.

Loved the sentence in the BBC match report about Bournemouth closing the gap on Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal to just a point. How surreal does that sound.

Well they have made about 60 changes and not kept the same back lime for a single game which hardly helps - even when they played us Fulham made 2 changes at the back at half time (which actually did improve their performance..)

Clearly they need to find a consistent formula - even the goalkeepers have been changed 2 or 3 times!
