Khaleesi gets a triumphant moment at least once a series (respect to whoever thought up the pyre/kill-the-slavers-wit-ma-dragons mash-up), but she always returns to fucking council meetings with Hizdahr zo-Loraq in good time. Essentially, she's taken five years to get back to where she was in the first season. Maybe she can go on another half-decade long trek across essos while varys and tyrion do all the interesting stuff and say witty and funny things, and maybe they just film the latter...

also am glad the BASTARD letter made an appearance, though in quite a different context to its role in the book.

It has to be said, if her desert based campaigns of purported liberation leading to difficult occupations and intractable cultural differences are intended as an oblique commentary on real-life western misadventures in the Middle East (and presumably they are) then they are REALLY nailing the never-ending, quagmire-like, 'oh for fucks sake not again' vibe.

I want Sansa to have been planted there on purpose by Ramsay after he crushed her will to fight and it was all a set-up and she sends Jon into a trap where he bursts into Winterfell after finding it eerily under defended only to glance upon the flayed corpse of Rickon in the courtyard and then Ramsay and his army appear to surround Jon and his army and you can see the regret in Sansa's treacherous eyes but it's all too late.....

And then I kill myself

wouldn't put it past ol george. there's a point where subverting established tropes by killing off your main characters becomes trope like in its own grimdarkness

Another thought - could Euron be about to take the Young Griff storyline?

Not sure how that final scene is going to work in versions that are dubbed for other countries...

they did it very well. 'Hold the door' means in german 'Halte das tor' which turns then into 'H'tor' ( spelled H'dor')

Is it dubbed or subbied? I imagine putting a dub over it would ruin it a bit

I doubt German is the only language they dub though. French networks usually do it too.

Another rubbish episode. Can't believe Brand went outside the tree and fucked it all up for everyone. Terrible character, hopefully he will also die soon.

All of the Stark kids have quite a talent for leaving a trail of bodies around them as a result of their fuck ups. Robb is the only one it's caught up with so far!
