The 5 changes really took its toll on the team. Without Lines or Sinclair in the middle we lose quite a bit of energy and that showed! Happy with the point come 90 mins, and even more delighted with sitting 5th in the table!

Ref totally arsed up on the sending off, and how he and the other officials missed the blatant elbow on Lyle Taylor is unbelievable. It was only 10 yards or so in front of the 4th official.

Think we looked the better team.

Oh and before rovers fans complain about the sell out . Your club were well aware of the number of tickets left. So it's not just our fault over people locked out.

My initial reaction was that it was actually a foul, but after seeing that I can agree that was an absolute shocker from the ref

Why not make it all ticket as our club requested?

Or akinfenwa having parkes round the throat?

Wow having just seen that red card on tv no doubt it was an absolute clanger from the ref! Surely the Lino must see that?!

.....or the numerous times Parkes attempted to rip the shirt from the back of Akinfewa.
Fair enough, but you highlighted violent conduct so I was just highlighting an example from your side. Fwiw it was never a sending off imo and yes you did play well. The sending off seemed to galvanise you. ( I know that's a cliche)

Well it is because our club mentioned it to wimbledon and they said no.

Difference between shirt grabbing and throat grabbing though...

Anyway, enough of my wind ups, so whats the deal wombles? Yes down to 10 and probably played better on the day (all I can say by listening on radio) but 0 shots on target? There's no excuse for not getting a single one on target at home?

We do know you can't actually see the game from the away end when it's full...

...However I think I might possibly know the incident you're talking about. Right infront of the away fans right? When it was a clear penalty for two players pulling akinfenwas shirt, then the ref gave it the other way? Followed by Bristol fans applauding? Sounds about right.

Had draw written all over it after the sending off.

Wimbledon were very well organised, got men behind the ball and we didn't have the guile or creativity to break them down.

We had a lot more possession and attempts on goal - Wimbledon didn't actually manage a single shot on target - but other than a chance Taylor had early on I can't honestly say we looked like scoring.

I don't think the red card did either side any favours, it ruined what might have been a decent game. Draw was a fair result.
