I know I shouldn't be in the Volksparkstadion today in the Relegation-place Final against Wolfsburg because of all the drama and excitement (and I am sure it will be a lot of drama I know my HSV ) and my heart still needs recovery but I can't help myself. I shouldn't be there but I have to be there. Hopefully it will be our last home match this season. Just in case I get another heart attack in the stadium...it was nice knowing you

Just as I said here before the match. Lots of drama. For 88 minutes it was the most horrible outcome for me, a relegation match against Eintracht Braunschweig, so a match between "born and bred" and "alma mater". And I had given up hope when at the end (in the 86th minute) Coach Gisdol put Luca Waldschmidt on the field. A 21 year old "Milchbubi" (Milksop says the dictionary) who hadn't scored a single Bundesliga Goal yet. I thought "Thank fuck for that, now we are really doomed. This guy won't do it"....but football writes another of his unbelievable stories. 2 minutes later Waldschmidt scored his first Bundesliga Goal and we are save again. The Dino survives!!!!! Unabsteigbar HSV The 57.000 sellout crowd went wild (ah, wait, only 51.000 went wild, because the 6.000 from Golfsburg shitted their pants now). What a story: 2 points after 10 matches at the beginning of the season. No one has yet survived after such a disastrous start, only the HSV.

Now all my fingers are crossed for Braunschweig in the Playoff Final against the hated neighbours (Wolfsburg is only 30 km away) and next seasons true Lower Saxonian Derby against Hannover 96 (50 km away) and let's put those jumped-up ones back in the 2nd tier. Would be great to have Eintracht Braunschweig back in the Bundesliga, in the 50th year after winning the Championship. Thursday and Monday are the dates for the matches.

Gomez the old cheater. What a bloody refereeing error to give the hand penalty because Gomez played the ball with the hand first. And later he refused to give an interview because he already knew what he has done. We could see this several times and even Stefan Effenberg as expert has said that this was a wrong decision. Couldn't watch this last night as Ligue 1 reintroduced its very own play-off on exactly the same format as the German one (3rd bottom of the top league playing a 2-legged tie against 3rd place of the 2nd tier) which kicked off 15 minutes later than Wolfsburg/Braunschweig. I saw a couple of decent saves by the Braunschweig keeper.

Yes. If you count all the chances the win of Wolfsburg is ok. Nonetheless very hurtful if this wrong decision of the referee maybe decides the whole relegation.

Normally, I wouldn't give a shit (to use your faecal word ) when 2 Bavarian Teams are playing for Relegation/Promotion but in this case it's clear. The "Sechzger" need to go down to get rid of this "evil" investor ( hopefully he loses his interest in the club when they play in 3.Liga)

If Frankfurt wins they'll be in the Europa league (they finished out of the EL places at #11 due to their very bad run in the recent months). If Dortmund wins (they qualified for the CL) then #7 Freiburg will play in the Europa league next season.

For weeks now they are speculating about Tuchel's sacking because Watzke and Tuchel don't have the best relationship lately (Watzke was irritated about Tuchel's (very humanly) reaction after the bomb attack before the 1st leg against Monaco in the CL quarterfinal. Can you sack a coach who brings Borussia it's first trophy after years?

I really hope he doesn't lose his job. I love the emotion he brings to the sideline and I think he's a very competent manager.

Foreseeable after the last weeks. The quarrel between general manager Watzke and coach Tuchel was published in the media nearly every day. And today Watzke published even an "open letter" . For those who understand German:

Tuchel is Dortmund's manager with the best points average ever in the League: 68 Matches, 142 points ( 2.08 points per game). Borussia is unbeaten at home in his 2 years in the League. In 2015/16 Borussia reached 78 points (2nd) that's 3 points more than Jürgen Klopp reached in his first championship season with Borussia in 2010/11 (in 2011/12 he reached 81).

Trouble in the 2nd leg of the 2nd Bundesliga Relegation match between 1860 Munich and Jahn Regensburg. Over 10 minutes delay after 80minutes because some of the 1860 fans went mad and threw objects on the field after it was clear that 1860 will be relegated to the 3.Liga (for the first time in 24 years)
I am sure that 1860 will get a heavy fine for that from the DFB (unfortunately they'll get the fine although the morons on the stand went wild.)
What a pathetic club 1860 has become and it's their own fault. Hiring a portuguese coach (Pereira) who knows **** all of the 2nd tier and doesn't speak the language (as well as his staff). They had a good starting point with the 1-1 at Regensburg and then they failed massively at home in front of 62.000 at the Allianz Arena.

Ian Ayre and President Cassalette already resigned. Vitor Pereira soon, too. And many players. And this "investor" Ismaik from Jordania (?) had Bundesliga and Champions League in mind, soon

So, now it's official. 1860 won't get the licence for the 3.Liga because the deadline of 3:30 pm passed without the guaranteed sum for the licence. Now it's either Regionalliga (4th Division) or even Bayernliga (5th Division). This "investor" Ismaik didn't invest in the 3rd Liga. but it seems he's still there?
Unbelievable this guy. Even pressed the club in the last days with claims they couldn't fulfill because of the German Football league system rules. Shows clearly that he hasn't the slightest clue of the German football league system and the rules.
