After having excellent form for a couple of months, it's started to tail off a little, with us still not sure of staying up. We should do, but getting to 50 with this game would be nice. We were probably knackered at Chesterfield on tuesday having played the same 11 that started at Bristol City 3 days before, which in hindsight was a mistake. We also don't have a left back currently as Joe Martin got injured on tuesday, but presumably that'll be rectified by the weekend otherwise Loft would have to play there unless we have a handy youth teamer knocking about.

Nelson
Hoyte - Egan - Ehmer - ????
A. Morris
McGlashan - Loft
Dack
McDonald Marquis

G.Morris, Legge, Muldoon, Hess, Norris, Dickenson + Someone else on the bench.

3-1 Gills

Third game of the season with the Gills this weekend and, some how, we haven't beaten you yet despite being on top in both of the others.

Desperately need a result to keep any faint hopes alive, so crossing everything but think we will fall short with a home win.

Three weeks ago I would have expected us to win this quite comfortably, having beaten Sheff U, MK etc.at home. We don't seem to be getting the breaks just lately so now instead of expecting a win, it's more a case of hoping for a win.

If we win I reckon we'll be about safe, I'm not expecting it to be easy though and desperately don't want us to be pulled in to a relegation scrap again.

We've signed a chap called Amari'i Bell from Birmingham til the end of the season to fill in at left back. Apparently did ok for Swindon earlier this season, but can't say I've ever heard of him.

Why? it'll be freezing and uncomfortable!

Mate plays for them and got me a ticket!

Yes it was freezing and uncomfortable!

Gillingham defo deserved something from that game, last 15 was all one way bar Porter scoring. Thought Colchester troubled when they got it wide but their full backs weren't much cop

The right back is a centre half who isn't much cop there either, and the left back is a wobbly loanee because the novice manager fell out with the left back. He also fell out with the real right back which is why a wobbly centre half is playing there.

We're such a shambles.

Was impressed with Murphy (bar his last minute mistake) Porter and the centre half playing alongside Khumalo. Oh and Fox. The rest of the team lets you down.

We were abysmal yet deserved the draw. We also hit the bar and shouldve had at least one pen, possibly two. Irritating that we've dropped points really.

Thought Colchester's keeper was their man of the match today, made one brilliant last ditch save that looked a certain goal.
