I would imagine the fourteen away fans will be put in the Gordon Road stand.

Get something off this lot and we can start looking upwards rather than down.

Our pitch is pretty good.
Spent a fair bit on it in the summer having it relaid.
Although we are in great form I still think this will be a step too far.
MK are one of the best two teams in the division and were really undone by the pitch at Bradford as much as anything else.
Reckon 1-3, though obviously hope I am utterly and totally wrong!

Cheers. Well a pitch in good nick will at least mean we will try to play the normal way as opposed to Monday night's approach.

Not sure Justin Edinburgh will try the over-grown grass tactics of Mad Dog. Still have that image of Robinson ripping up clumps of grass prematch. :fl:

Flanagan's back but should be on the bench so here's to avoiding a 5 minute red card like last season.

We need to win, but I suspect a 1-1 draw will be the outcome.

Please play Tom.

As much as I think he could be a decent centre half, another own goal and red card would be very handy indeed.

Think we will stick with the back 4 from Bradford.

I'm firmly in the Tom is a League 2 defender camp. It's that or he has ridiculously bad luck when he pulls on our shirt.

While MK are, obviously, a good side, the Gills impressed at our place in the JPT game and are no longer a soft touch. New Manager as well. This could be a tough game for the media bitch and his excellent team.
I can see a draw here.

Well the way we've been playing lately, 4 wins and 2 draws from the last 6, I'm thinking we can beat anyone in this league at the moment. However, I'd probably settle for a draw at this stage.
How many MK fans are expected?

I don't mean to rain on the Gillingham parade. But in there games it's been very much a matter of fine margins and seemingly playing teams at the right time (out of form) beat horribly out of form clubs like Oldham and Coventry by the odd late goal. Posh have terrible home form, Sheff Utd coming off the back of going out of the cups plus had about 1 win in 10 again with very late goals. Walsall at the time couldn't win at home. MK will be a test but you could argue that its the perfect time to play them. I'm just not quite sure how "inform" they actually are.

Us or Gillingham?

With tomorrow being JE's first touchline game at Priestfield, I don't think we could have picked a worse time to visit.

I take your point, but it's also the manner of the performances since Taylor left. Ok sure, we lost the first three after he went, but only one was a poor performance (Crewe), and since then we've just been....good. It's a very simple thing that's changed as well - play your best players in their correct positions (Egan at centre back, and Dack at the point of a midfield diamond) and don't overcomplicate formations (no wing back nonsense or anything). We essentially play a 4-4-2, either diamond or flat depending whether or not McGlashan is on the pitch (who, by the way, has been scintillating in the last month), although I understand we changed formation a couple of times on tuesday at Peterborough to cope in the early stages. In the games you mention (Cov especially), under Taylor we would've to about 80 minutes level and tried to hang on to that. The late winners are certainly as a result of the tactical attacking emphasis the 'gang of four' put on the team, and hopefully Edinburgh can continue that. Good time to be a Gills fan.

I'm amazed that you're expecting MK to only bring 300 fans. We took nearly that many to Peterborough on Tuesday and it was a night game, and further travelling time, and you're in with a great chance of automatic promotion, we're not, where's the passion? I think we took 600 or more to yours.

One of the main reasons i think it is, is due to valentines day. i know a good 15 people that arent going including myself due to this reason.

Few more than that Davey, we took 1048 to their place. It seems the people of Milton Keynes just aren't bothered unless it's Man Utd coming to town.

But I hear you qualify for a cheaper ticket if you hand in your beta male card to the ticket office?

Not saying it's an excuse, but it was the opening day. That would have seen our number increased although not to that level admittedly.
From looking at our forums it may be closer to 400/450, but yes all in all very piss poor.

The trend on our away following is moving upwards but not as quickly as probably we all would like.

You should do what I did, I offered to take my Mrs to the game.
She obviously declined my offer, but what more could I do?
At least I offered, which I thought was a thoroughly selfless and romantic thing to do.
