We're not conceding many, Blackpool don't score (m)any, so if we start positively we could put the game to bed by half time.

I find it disconcerting in the extreme to be this positive about Gills, so it'll probably be a home defeat.

So what you're basically saying is you don't know that much about the subject but you'll just take Blackpool fans' word for it that that is what's happening?

Loads of clubs have gone from the Premier League to League 1. Nobody was lynching Oyston when they were going the other way, in fact I remember lots of times being ridiculed by Blackpool fans when we had Derek Shaw in charge and they had Oyston and how much better he was. Now the shoe is on the other foot and the fucking drama queens have all thrown their toys out of the pram.

Maybe Oyston is now trying to ruin them, but it definitely didn't start out that way and who can blame him when he and his family have to deal with multiple death threats on a daily basis.

They are so utterly blinkered by hatred they don't see it as a fan, they see it as a rival and that's part and parcel of football. I don't expect SF or young Tom to get it.

But when you are getting threatened with legal action and your good friends who you have travelled the length of the country with then you start to get fucked off with them. Once SF and Tom actually look into it without the silly "lasher hatred" spectacles on, they'd know that Oyston wasn't popular during, before or after the Premier League season. He has always had element of fans against him. And that is a fact. I have never been a fan, and whilst I hate agent I fully concurred with part of his stance. But the Agents are part of the game that you need to play to be successful.

This is why I don't read or take any Preston fan bar a couples posts serious enough, I did before I went off the forum at the end of last season but they aren't here for constructive debate. They're here for a laugh and to attempt to wind people up.

The fact of the matter is the following.

The club has received in excess of over 100M since our PL visit including transfer fees for various players.
We were relegated from the Championship with an equaling lowest points total with no statement from the football club.
They even removed a legends statue because of potential "fans sabotage" without proper club statement, provocative.
We do not have a fully permanent, completed stadium. Fact.
We did not upgrade our training ground to satisfactory levels, it's currently below conference standard. Fact.
We have continuously not had a pitch up to standard of the football league within the past 3 seasons. This season isn't any different considering we had a Neal Diamond concert on it two weeks before.
Karl Oyston said that the money gained from the Premier League visit would change the club, well it has Karl, we've plummeted and we are arguably in the worst position possible.
We are currently suing any fan that has made defamatory comments. And trust me, there are over 100 targets (I was one but that's a different story). You can argue all you want about what you say, but I gaurentee that on a daily basis something is said about most clubs that could be deemed defamatory, it's the way of the footballing world. Karl Oyston is a convicted fly tipper. And Owen Oyston is a convicted rapist. Both facts.
Our brand new sponsor has already pulled out of the deal due to certain dealings with the Oystons. Less than 10 games into the season.

I could add more in here if you want me to.

God forbid anything like what happens to Blackpool ever happens to your club you can safely say your pathetic wind up threats will be rammed down your throats.
Like your pal fuck off to another forum

Egan and Dickenson look like they're back, but Oshilaja misses out.

I expect Egan to start but don't think Garmston will be dropped so Dickenson on the bench.

Midfield could be any from Wright, Hess, Loft, Osadebe and Houghton as the three behind Dack - I reckon It'll be Wright, Loft and Hess.

Agree it could be any Joe, but from everything I hear about him, I'd be amazed if Houghton was left out.
We are very, very lucky indeed to have him for 6 months in div1.
Chelski will send him to the Championship in Jan I reckon.

So would I, but Loft will almost certainly play as he's captain, I can't see Wright being dropped as he's been exceptional, and Hess changed the game against Donny - probably the best half hour I've seen from him in a Gills shirt. Good problem to have!

What a refreshing change it is to have a hungry young squad where there is literally no weak link and everyone on the bench is good enough to start and contribute in the first XI.
Can't believe our luck when I think back to some of those Jepson and Stimson teams.
I would bring Egan back, push Loft into midfield and possibly try Mcdonald with Donnelly to see if there's anything there.

2-0 Gills

Easy win for Gillingham, I've got a house viewing at 9am. And should that be finished by 9.01am. I'll go.

Small house?

No enthusiasm to go watch an awful team play football..........

and Blackpool. Badum tish. In all seriousness, we're very poor and it'll be the easiest 3 points you'll get all season.

Well our manager reckons it is our hardest game of the season so far.

This season isn't any different considering we had a Neil Diamond concert on it two weeks before.
.
Is he still playing for you? Hello again, Kurt. Personally, I'm a believer. I understand that it went from bad to worse when Jamie O'Hara said "Play me!", but I always thought he was a two-bit man-child, if you know what I mean. I don't think he was the solitary man, though.

I guess that supporting Blackpool must be a labour of love but can't help feeling that it's love on the rocks, these days, mate. True love. To be fair, I've been this way before, listening to people say they can't help falling in love with Blackpool.
But don't be cruel, and before listening to you diss the Oystons any more, I'd like to hear both sides, now.
This season, like last, you seem to be done too soon and I think you'll go down. If you go away, down to League 2, you could be singing yesterday's songs.

I (who have nothing) don't blame you for thinking the sun ain't gonna shine anymore over Bloomfield Road, but even though people are saying "I think it's going to rain today", there must be hope. I dreamed a dream that Blackpool would be reborn and all across Blackpool, shops would be selling commemorative jingle bell rock and knocking back red red wine, just as I am....I said that you had to descend to the pits before you could rise again.

Just, please, don't do any Sigur Ros concerts next summer!

We've always hated Preston since the knob Gregan caused so much trouble. Love Blackpool ( apart from Worthington) and feel a bit sorry for them. Perhaps not so if we don't win today though.

I have never hated Preston and most of the Gills fans I know have never hated Preston.
The Gregon v Hessie thing was great.
Gills fans always had a grudging respect for Gregan. He was one of those players that you loved to hate, but would have loved to have him in your team.
I now a lot of Presrton fans felt the same about Hessie.
The only clubs we have ever really hated are Swindon, Charlton and Fulham.
I have always been completely indifferent towards Blackpool, apart from that total bellend c*** Worthington.
I do have a genuine sympathy for their current plight though, and I reckon most impartial fans feel the same.

Good win considering we didn't really play well.

Blackpool weren't as bad as I thought they would be.

We move on still unbeaten and still top.

You can't play well every week I guess.

Blackpool weren't great, but at least they looked like they cared. Could easily have scored a couple when we were having a horror 20 mins in the second half.

The term "winning ugly" has been bandied around our forums. Don't mind that.

And apparently the loudest chants (only ones from us as well?) were "Oystons Out!" by the whole ground :2thumb:

Just seen the blackpool managers post match interview, he reckons they dominated the game, what the hell is he on.

Blackpool had a 15-20 minute spell where we looked shakey at the back and they had a few chances.

Thought the blackpool #8 was by far their best player and he caused a few problems.

Great seeing the whole ground singing oysten out as he got up and walked out.

Thanks to the Gillingham fans voicing their opinions. I don't know if you would have done that if losing.

A lot of reports said yesterday was a fair draw with all three of the goals being very very fortunate.

Anyway, all the best. We need signings if we're going to stay in this league.

You might be right there SSKurt...

A lot of people on our forums saying a draw would have been a fair result too. But that tends to happen when your down the bottom. Luck is often against you. We've had plenty of "luck against" ourselves over the past seasons.

Best of luck to your club too.

I'd like to think we would've done, but you never know I guess. Although whether Oyston would've left before the end as he did had we not scored our second then I doubt he would've had much abuse.
