Jeez, that was bad, no bite, no fight...just nothingness...to be fair to Stockport, they actually look a decent team, moved the ball around nicely and their first goal was an absolute banger...but where was our team, we need to win games, but no goals in three games and apparently only two shots...we are going down!
Im at the stage where I just want all of these frauds out of the club, pathetic losers!

I doubt if many of the current squad will still be here next season, regardless of which division we are in, your wish may be granted.

There's normally a mass clear out when you drop out the league and I think today was pretty much it for you, looks too big a gap with too few games now.
Horrible couple of seasons for the fans, probably more fun next year as long as your owner stumps up enough to keep you competitive.

Thought it was an even first half and thought we were the better team second half. Probably score another couple if Tyler Smith was a footballer.

It was in front of me, haven't seen it back yet but I thought Okonkwo had fucked it up and nobody around us was complaining when it went in the net.

I was disappointed in Mansfield, I'd heard they were a passing side who yOu ShOuLdNt AtTaCk but couldn't really see much of it. Nigel Pulis seems to have assembled an enormous side, biggest team since Borehamwood to visit the Racecourse. If they had a Mullin up top they'd be champions already really as they had nobody there and DKD went missing.

If only MK Dons would fuck off.
We'll take care of that Monday, no joke.

I'm just sick to death of the pathetic goals we concede every week.
Maynard isn't turning this round so we need to face up to it and sack him. Slocombe is a sound bloke but Ashby Hammond should never have been dropped for him after the Bradford win.
Looking at the goals conceded today if the players are going to do things like that you could have Pep in charge and it wouldn't matter

Comfortable win in the end against a limited Grimsby. I think with a bit more intent in the second half we could've been out of sight sooner, but getting the job is all that matters at this stage of the season.
Think we'll have your manager, bit agricultural for our taste but he's getting results

Really didn't expect that. They rarely troubled the goal. Havent seen it back but the "penalty" looked a good yard or 3 outside the box.

Tough game Tuesday against an inform Donny

It depends how many of our players have had relegation release clauses included in their contracts, given what a cluster the administration of our club is we may find ourselves watching Fankaty Dabo on a mind altering £4.5k per week and our club slowly dying.

Swindon entirely beatable and utterly moderate but by crikey we're beyond redemption. Can't defend, painfully slow build up, don't test keepers anywhere near enough and now they're shot to bite with absolutely no confidence. And Slocombe just needs to be replaced once and for all.

Agreed and he was MOTM and our saviour at Crawley.

He can't pass the ball and struggles with kicking. It's that simple. So why try on that god awful pitch

In a weird way I'm kinda proud to have been there in person to see it.

Something to tell the grandchildren

Looks almost identical to the goal your keeper gifted Noah Chilvers at our place earlier this season.

Just an incredibly naive way of looking at it. Errors get driven by a lack of concentration, confidence and certainty about what they’re doing. They’re just another symptom of our lifeless displays under Maynard, not necessarily ‘overplaying’ like they have been at times this season, just sheer complacency - if the manager isn’t on the hook, I don’t know who is.

There seems to be a faction of fans who think poor Stuart has been lumped with the worst squad in existence. False position or not, the fact of the matter is he inherited a side in 6th in January - they quite simply can’t be as completely hopeless as they look week in, week out currently.

The ‘disallowed goal’ was a weird one, I have no idea if it was the correct decision or not but I did see the referee blow for a foul way before it went in the net, yet nobody else in the away end did and started celebrating

We played the second half with a #9 at centre back and a #11 at RB, so Hewitt getting cleaned out within minutes was a lovely gesture from the terrorist sympathiser. We have a bit of injury crisis at the back now hence the makeshift look.

At what point does a player take ownership of their own mistakes though. A keeper dribbling the ball out, proceeding to pass straight to a opposition shirt 5 yards away who then just puts it in the net. I dunno man, regardless of what's going on with the management, you just can't do things like that at any level, you can't legislate for it.

He's had every chance and I defended him most of the time but after last Saturdays home defeat I thought we needed 3-4 pts this Easter to justify him staying. Lose on Monday and he has to go, arguably he should be gone tonight, he hasn't really got any excuses for such a low points tally over 15 games.

We need a new keeper and at least one centre half for next season. We've been conceding soft goals like that all season so it isn't all on the coach but we insist on playing very risky football in our own eighteen yard box and when you're low on confidence on a dreadful run sometimes you just have to clear your lines.

I do not think Maynard is blameless but they were in 6th by playing out of their skin for a manager they believed in and had 100% confidence in. Whoever came in had a tough job on to keep that up, no doubt he's done a bad job and needs to go but I don't think anyone was likely to keep up the run we had up to the point Williams left, the signs were there before he did.

We never looked like having a shot, never mind actually scoring. Not good enough, don't get me wrong Stockport are quality but we should be giving them at least a bit of a game. 0.0 xg at home is dire.

No one in their right mind thought Williams was blameless for the many defensive calamities under him so I’ve no idea why so many people are or maybe were keen to give Maynard a free pass.

Gottta be one of the worst appointments in football history not based so much on results but on players going from knowing exactly what they had to do and having a style and cohesion(in the attacking half at least) to having none of those things.

No matter who the owners are Notts County are absolutely fucking shit at getting in managers and coaches when not in non league.

If the final table was in the positions above I wouldn't be too dissapointed. The teams in the playoff positions are all beatable (including us of course). As long as the wombles weren't in there, that would not be good.

Think you're being a bit harsh there, I've checked the stats again.

No you got the tactics right - show attacking intent against us by trying to dominate and we seem to battle well and get behind the ball - Gills and Mk found that out, only Mansfield have beaten us when dominating possession recently and they are a special case. Sit back and let us have the ball and we are guaranteed to make absolutely basic feck-ups in bad areas - and it’s like taking candy from a baby - Walsall, Stockport, Tranmere, Donny and Wrexham have all succeeded with that at Blundell Park. You are the first to follow that approach at home against us for a while and it worked a treat…

We are in deep shit. Even teams that are on the beach will punish the sort of feck-ups we are making at the moment.
