i am sure that you have not posted that to get praise, but well done. You did exactly the right thing, it is only by calling out such things will anything change. I hope I would do the right thing too.I am pretty much the same, really laid back but will always challenge things like racism, sexism and homophobia in any situation.
In my case I reported a post that was racist, the person was banned for a couple of weeks but allowed to return to the forum. They have since been banned again for racism, for posting derogatory comments about a specific ethnic group, and posting links to an article that was linked to a person from the far right. Despite being warned about what they had done they re-posted it, claiming ignorance, and going into battle with the forum moderators. They also sent the link in a PM in some warped attempt to justify their actions. Unsurprisingly they were banned again for that infraction and are currently serving a lengthy ban for further breaches of forum rules.
I was surprised that they were allowed to return to the forum after a ban for racism, thinking it was something that should have resulted in a more serious sanction...the fact that they are a repeat offender makes me wonder how serious our club has actually treated the matter...to say I am not happy is somewhat of an understatement.
i'm guessing Akinola was a reference to the dive?Referee's lost control of the game now. A spate of dodgy decisions and you can see both sets of players now have no confidence in him.
I definitely saw Demetriou place the ball on the spot, he not take it? I must have looked away and missed the switch
Clearly not yes. Don't know what happened cos Demetriou was definitely the one who put the ball on the spot.
we'll find out after Monday IF we beat Colchester - a defeat today without scoring could really knock their shaky confidence.... at least you guys are not losing matches at present. You think the one point difference between a draw and a defeat will make that much difference?

The odds of us going down are small, but the thought of going back to the conference fills me with such utter dread it’s worth taking every precaution.
Every single thing about the conference is so ridiculously crap, there is no fun to be found in the bananarama league
Well yeah the odds are small, doesn’t stop me needlessly getting in a bit of a flap over itIt’s nigh on impossible for Mansfield to be in danger now. Doubt the bottom two get to your points total even if you didn’t win another. Even if so then all the others below wouldn’t either. My expectation is unless Southend win today then it will be over by the time they play Colchester.
