Simple concept, what bands do you love that have released an absolute stinker of a song. One that you always skip if it comes on.

Conversely, is there a song that you love by a band that you usually hate.

Inspired by the MWC and the song A Day in the Life which I'm not a fan of.

Also, Pink Floyd, Another Brick in the Wall, dreadful.

On the other side, Meatloaf is someone I'm not a fan of but love Two out of Three Ain't Bad.

Ragged Glory is my favourite Neil Young Album (I have most of them) but this just grates. Luckily it's the last track.

I can only access this forum through Unblockanything.com so I can't put up any vids, not that I was really going to, like.

I'm a Christian, though I can't remember the last time I went to Church, so songs that attack Jesus Christ instead of attacking the corrupt organisation that is the Church are a big no-no for me. An example of this is Reality Asylum by Crass, which conveniently enough happens to be the first track on The Feeding of The 5000 album so it's no big deal to skip it.

I'm sure I'll come up with several other examples for this wonderful thread.

Fools Gold by The Stone Roses. Love the band but just don't like that song.

Also, I did mention this on another thread some time ago, I am not a Meatloaf fan at all but this performance on The Old Grey Whistle Test must go down as one of the best performances on there ever.

Wham! were obviously kind of rubbish, but I have always loved the tune "Everything She Wants", which I believe, was the b-side to "Last Christmas".

Appropriate name for this band but I like these couple of tunes -

edit - as for those bands I love to hate, I can't think of a single Manowar song that can be considered 'decent', same goes for Ghost (as their only half-bearable song is actually a cover of Roky Erickson), but I can say that Queen have indeed got a tune that is acceptable to me - Another one bites the dust. By acceptable I mean not as irritating as the others.
