Rovers go to a confident looking Exeter who will fancy a win against a toothless rovers. Tisdale seems to have built another impressive young side who will be looking towards the playoffs. Rovers on the other hand have been struggling in front of goal despite dominating games and looking increasingly unsure at the back. Despite all this and against any logic I'm going for a smash and grab 0-1 win for rovers. Utg

I'd go with that. Rovers to grind out a victory.

After two great away wins the pessimist in me says we will fuck it up on Saturday.

Rovers have a decent away record and even though we've only lost once at home, we draw too many. I'll bet on a draw. 1-1

I think the biggest factor going into this game is current form and that's why it's hard to look past an Exeter win.

Fantastic away wins at top of the table Plymouth and promotion chasing Mansfield have springboarded Exeter to within a point of the play off's and confidence must be at an all time high.

Add to that a fantastic home record which has seen them lose just once in 10 league & cup matches at St James Park and it really does look nailed on.

Rovers on the other hand havce lost 5 of their last 7 games. These include a heavy defeat to struggling Newport and an embarrasing loss to Chesham in the cup. We've also lost our last 2 games on the spin to very average opposition and are struggling to score goals.

Exeter 2-0 Rovers

We're starting up 'Red Legion' which is a essentially a group of people trying to improve the noise at SJP. With it being their first outing, the atmosphere should hopefully be quite good.

Rovers have a very impressive away record over the past year so I'm very wary of this one. I would like to think the momentum from the last 2 wins and a good crowd and atmosphere will spur us on to make it 3/3, although SkyBet obviously don't fancy us as we're currently 11/5 to leave with the points.

Think we'll draw 1-1. Joel Grant getting our goal.

Sounds like we were robbed today. Unfortunately, another tale of not taking our chances.

About time someone scored a last second goal against us though tbf

Rovers were by far the best team on the day and how we got anything I will never know. Olejnik made a number of top saves to keep us in it.

I was very impressed with Sinclair who bossed the midfield and Gaffney looked a good forward. If Rovers play like that often they'll be playoff contenders.

Baffling team selection from us today though. Why drop the front three who did so well on Tuesday. Also after Noble went off at half time we had Lee Holmes filling in, in the middle and he did well. Rovers' goal was a top strike from Sinclair and our last ditch goal was well taken by Jamie Reid who I thought was poor all game but fair play to him for scoring.

A definite point gained. Unlucky Rovers.

Rovers were unlucky not to win but I wasn't as impressed as some of our fans seem to be. To me, they looked a side of grafters more than one blessed with good individual players, I did think that Sinclair played well though.

But yeah, Olejnik was rightly man of the match and very much kept us in the game.

Gutted. Wet and gutted.

Had we played badly and thrown it away we could have no complaints, but we played really well and deserved 3 points. The way things are going for us at the moment, though, you knew we would be hit by a sucker punch.

Was impressed by the whole team today. Gaffney played well on his debut - I'm looking forward to seeing him when he settles in a bit more.

Not sure how we didn't win that game. Dominated from start to finish. Well, apart fron the last 5 minutes when we started to sit a little deep.

Could easily have been 1 or 2 up at the break. Olejnik made 3 superb saves and Gaffney headed a good chance inches wide.

Second half was even more one sided, hit the bar twice, had one cleared off the line, a goal disallowed and more great goalkeeping until Sinclair smashed home what should have been the winner.

Unfortunately instead of going for number 2, for the first time in the match we started to sit back and the ball broke perfectly for Reid to fire in an undeserved equaliser with the last kick of the game.

We made Exeter look very ordinary on the day and I think they're actually a very good side based on what I've heard from other teams. So, pleased with the performance but disappointed we didn't take more of our chances and come away with the points our play warranted.

Nice to hear positive things about our Gaffers, it only confirms what I already know. I really would be gutted if this loan is in view to a permanent move.

There's been absolutely no confirmation from our end that there is a view to a permanent transfer, but in his interview he did say the manager said he'd not get any game time and that's why he's joined us. The interviewer said something along the lines of 'so you want to put yourself in the shop window?' and Gaffney said yes, which makes me think the potential for him to stay longer-term is a possibility. I'm sure we'll find out over the next month or so.

It's baffling how he could be loaned out to a rival L2 club really. I could understand if Cambridge were top and pissing the league. He looked a decent player and was quite mobile for a big guy...Rovers could have found a good'un
