Green cards

No not a topic about bus passes but will refs be given the chance to show as in hockey a green card rather than a straight red or yellow card in the future?

Would this work or just lead to another issue for the officials to sort out and further confusion/debate as to what is deemed worthy of what colour card?

I'm still all for it, it would alleviate cynical challenges and help prevent diving if applied like Gaelic Football's black card.

Nope. Not for me, just use the yellow card where applicable.

Refs already have two cards they don't know how to use. Giving them more will just confuse them.

There is a big problem with how fouls are dealt with in football. It's penalty after penalty, destroying the flow of the game and decreasing the impact of athleticism. Bookings should be done away with, and a sin bin should be introduced as in rugby. Take these guys off the field for a few minutes and they'll stop acting like a bunch of petty criminals.
