I want Sutton and Bromley to go up; saves me going to their gaffs.
I'm well up for all the Southern away games. Went to Sutton v Barrow last season actually, they away end is decent for noise. Quite looking forward to it. It's kind of a ballache to get to even once you get into London though, so I see what you're saying.
King’s Lynn’s owner is definitely going to try and start some kind of beef with you btw.
Haha ohno, I had them pegged as nice guys, is that not the case?

I've been told that Kings Lynn supporters are a bit 'rough' and pretty unfriendly, is their owner of the same ilk? It's a strange town, I know that; saw Mongo Jerry their once (in the Corn Exchange).

Just look at that haircut and suit. I think he managed to have some kind of falling out with Wrexham a few weeks ago. Does co-comms on their stream as well which is funny (was actually pretty decent tbf).

That Amond looks a good player! wheres he at now.
I’m not sure, we didn’t want to offer him the 2 year contract he wanted as he ‘wasn’t proven at League 2 level’ in John Shelton Fenty’s opinion and it seems a good call on his part as he’s barely scored a goal for anybody since. :bg:

Ah okay, your local rag must have got it wrong then. 1,767 is a weird number to pluck out of thin air though...

That was a Saturday! Don't know what day it is, do ya! And you brought Tuesdays into it. :fl:

I haven't got free digs in London anymore (my son isn't there now), so our capital city can sod off, I'm not paying for a bed at their prices unless I really have too.

I wonder if, when getting dressed that day, he mulled over whether to undo three or four shirt buttons and eventually decided five was okay...

"In front of the biggest Shay crowd of the season" hahahaha, couldn't make it up. Barely scraped a thousand home fans into the ground.
Sorry, we got more for Nantwich in the FA Trophy. How embarrassing is that for you!! Please, no more, I'm dying over here! :fl: :fl: :fl: :fl: :bdick:

Good to see Halifax vs Grimsby staking a claim to stand alongside Wealdstone vs Barnet and Chesterfield vs The Treasury as next season’s big rivalries.

You forgot the Chesterfield vs Dover rivalry which ignited after an argument about who finished the season in better form.

SHAYMEN, CHESTER, DARLINGTON, TORQUAY, HEREFORD, LINCOLN, ALDERSHOT, YORK- GRIMSBY now joining the elites of shitness, the truly shit clubs who have been relegated twice from the Football League. THAT takes a special level of shitness that only those clubs absolutely dedicated to being shit can achieve.

Welcome, Brothers. :bdick::db:

While I am big enough to hold my hands up and admit I dropped a clanger there, in my defence I was in Korea at the time of that match so it was dark outside when I was listening to it.

The point remains that we will probably once again outnumber you at The Shay, smash nine goals past you over the two matches next season and get promoted.

All joking aisde, good luck. Looking at the top 10, I don't really want to lose any 2 of those. It's full of appealing fixtures (for a Southern based Grimsby fan) and old acquaintances. Eastleigh maybe is who I'd be least arsed about playing, but then again they were really nice when we beat them in the playoffs the year Bristol Rovers beat us.

You missed Barnet off.

Also how have Halifax been relegated from it twice when you’ve never been in it?

Who was that with? I don't argue with anyone.
Hardly one of the big rivalries on here :bg:

Unfortunately we do have an 'unfriendly' element although that's not all of us. Basically since the club reformed we got used to being a bigger fish in a smaller pond and that we were somehow a 'sleeping giant' of non-league football. Even after the wake up call that this season has been, where we been shown to be very much out of our depth, many fans still think next season will see us throwing money (which we don't have) at a challenge for the play-offs.

As for the owner, on a 1-2-1 he is an interesting chap to speak with and some of that comes across on commentary and he is genuinely interested in football at this level but whether he should be an owner is a totally different question as he seems to have a knack of upsetting people, often for no reason whatsoever.

We are well aware that we are very much the minnows of The Real Brotherhood so being in this elite group is something we can really be proud of.

That’s got to be a Thatcherite yuppie tosser cosplay costume. I refuse to believe otherwise.
