They're two of the 3.6 million non-league teams in the London and South East area. Strangely enough, they're the only two clubs that don't come from a place that ends in -ing or -stone.
Like Barnet, Aldershot and Dagenham you mean?

Also interesting to note that Welling and Woking are the same thing. You’ve never seen them play each other.

I've only just realised those are two completely different words.

I thought they all had 'arse' in their names. You know, them arses from Barnet or Chelsea.

It’s just dawned on me that this will be our first ever season down here without the FGR ‘Top lads’ for company so in homage to them i would like to make a prediction that our strikers next season will each score 40+ goals with all of our midfielders chipping in with between 25-30 goals each.

Yeah but you will need that with Luke Waterfall scoring around 500 OG’s

This coupled with our players now getting to train with fully pumped up footballs instead of flat ones means they should just hand us the title now and save time. :D

I think that's OK.

We also signed two new players today: It's been busy.

Either here or the National South. Nobody ever really remembers what league they are in from one season to the next.

Same with Ebbsfleet. Even now I couldn’t tell you for sure if they were in our league this season or not.
Yeah, Ebbsfleet, Dagenham, Braintree, Eastleigh, Bromley, Boreham, Woking, Barnet, Maidenhead, Dartford, Welling (and anyone I've missed off) all just merge into one giant, completely irrelevant anti-football blob somewhere down South that no one cares about or has any interest in at all, until they turn up, inexplicably, on your fixture list, and are forgotten the moment they are gone........ :bdick:

Remind me who you are again? A point of order too- as a Tin Potter you are not permitted to address me directly, please ask one or other of the Brothers to make your representations for you, in future. Thanks. :ds:

A bit of news on our forum, which may be of interest to Grimsby fans. Joe Bunney (Ex Dale and more recently at Blundell Park) has tweeted that the medical profession have given him the all clear to resume his football career. As a haematologist was mentioned, it looks as though he had some sort of issue with his blood.

Hope he makes it back again - while there are better players about he's no mug, and always put a decent shift in when at Dale.
