Any admirers of this exemplary piece of art?

Big fan! I think it's probably the best non-network US drama series that is still going. Can't wait for the third season. Really interested to see who survived the S2 finale.

Love it. Apparently they've had to recast
Mason Verger
though which is a shame. I love Mads' classy, calculated interpretation of Hannibal.

I think they're going to have Will track him down, hopefully in Florence. I think the end of the next series will see Hannibal captured and the last episode will introduce Clarice. That's my hope anyway.

Pity as I liked Michael Pitt in the role. That's the problem with using actors that are good enough to land regular movie roles.

One of my favourite shows. S2 is up there with anything else I've watched on television.

Saving it for bulk watching. Can't torture myself doing it week to week.

I'm tempted to do that, but then I'm also tempted to watch them immediately upon their release. I'll probably end up going with the latter option.

Gonna start watching the new series when it airs on Sky Living next week. Actually looking forward to it more than any other TV series for a while.

I couldn't handle the wait. Loved it, as per usual.

That cinematography.

"What have you got yourself into, Bedelia?"

Eddie Izzard was great, as he's always been whenever he's appeared on the show.

"My wife and I would love to have you for dinner"

Hannibal is just too fucking cool about this stuff.

By far and away, the funniest Hannibal moment that stands out in my mind, was when he was stalking that guy who was connecting all those bodies together in the silo on the farm. The killer looks up at Hannibal and Hannibal shouts down to him "I love your work."

Only problem I have with the show is that I find myself rewinding a few seconds multiple times throughout episodes because of his accent.

It can be a bit of a struggle at times but I can't say it bothers me too much. I actually rewind on shows with UK/US accents more often than I do with Mads.

Loved the first two series. Was away for the first ep of the 3rd, but Im not used to watching stuff thats actually on weekly anymore, most series I watch are already finished, so I can watch as many or as few as I want, so might wait until its at least 5-6 eps in!

It's been a bit of a slow start so it's probably the best thing to do.

I binge watched all of S1 and caught up a few days before the season 2 finale was aired, so it's a bit odd watching on a weekly basis. Definitely a show suited to being watched all in one go.

My mate recommended it to me just after S2 finished, so I got to watch all the first 2 at my leisure. Ive still got about 10 episodes left of Mad Men, so will likely watch it when Ive finished that.

Really enjoyed this week's episode. The first two were a bit too much caught up with dealing with the S2 finale, whereas this one felt like S3 breathing for the first time.

Technically, you killed him. :D

Down to rights to Clarice, so probably something they'll sort. As for this season there's way too many close ups of shit with that fucking jazz club c*** going apeshit on his bongos. Less of that more ice pick headaches.

I'd be surprised if another company didn't at least have a sniff round buying the rights, but I haven't seen the numbers it does so I'm not sure how much value there is.

GET FUCKED

Hopefully somebody else will pick the show up. The show for a while struggled a bit with ratings despite critical success, it is something I can see doing well on Netflix however, they already own the rights in some countries. Sounds like this is more a problem with property than viewing figures, not sure if that's a good thing or not...

The past two episodes have been the lowest rated in the shows existence. 1.6 million isn't going to sustain a show like this, I would be surprised if anyone else comes to pick it up.

I may be wrong, as I've not experienced it myself, but I've seen people say NBC didn't market the show very well and had it in a bad time slot. It may be people making excuses, but if true, that wouldn't have helped the show.

The episode with 1.6 million viewers was aired at the same time as the NBA finals, so the timeslot wasn't perfect. However I'd actually say that the ratings also dropped because to be honest the first episode wasn't particularly riveting stuff was it? It's been a slow start.
