Not football related but, I once had a wank whilst crying my eyes out. Which was quite an emotional rollercoaster.

Happy:

Beating Bristol Rovers to get back to the Championship (why did I have to start supporting properly when we turned shit?) or beating Manchester United in the same season. When we were ace in the Prem it was all I had known so it didn't feel as good.

Sad:

Perhaps the Cardiff game when we got beat in the FA Cup whilst top of the Prem - often pointed to as the 'turning point'. It was one of the rare occasions I cried as a kid about football as I knew I was going to get loads of shit at school the next day

Angry:

Probably something Andy D'urso did. c***.

Drawing at Leicester the day we were promoted to the top division for the first time in our history.

Sad
The 1995 4-3 playoff final defeat to Bolton. After that didnt think we would ever get promoted to the Premier League. If we had won we would have more than likely had to play our home games away from Elm Park as the ground wasn't really up to Premier League Standard.

Angry
6-0 home defeat to Bristol Rovers in League one back in 1999.The most inept Reading performance i have ever seen.Should have not been surprised when we had players like Clement, Kromheer McPherson and Houghton playing.

Never have I celebrated a goal like that one from George MONCURRRR a moment I doubt will be beaten for me.

Sad:
MK Dons 0-2 PNE
Seeing the thousands of travelling PNE fans go mental was fucking awful. Really felt at the time automatics were 100% gone. I was fuming.

Beating them c*** at Wembley in 93 to reach the FA cup final

Saddest
Relegation from the top flight in 1990, I was 9, I cried.

Angriest

Losing 8-0 at Newcastle in the Prem, followed by 75% of the Alan Irvine tenure.

Happy: City 2-1 Hartlepool. 2 goals in the last minute to make the league one play off final in 2004.
Seeing City win at the new Wembley in March also another great moment along with stuffing the Swindon Inbreds 3-0 weekslater.

Sad: Championship Play off final 2008 and Dean Windybum.

Angry: Brighton 1-0 City League one play off final, also 2004. Danny 'bottler' Wilson didnt even have a striker on the bench and was an absolute dreadful performance and I am sure many fellow City fans will feel the same about this game.

All 3 emotions when I see this thread and who started it.

Do you just make these boring threads every week for a school survey or something? You don't even reply to them...

Happy: The play off win, after 9 failures it was brilliant to finally do it, and in such emphatic style. I doubt I will ever forget that day.

Sad: 3 weeks earlier at Colchester, awful.

Angry: Notts County at home when Laird got his leg broken. Such an inept refereeing performance cost us 2 points in a game we absolutely dominated and he lost control of the game so much it led to a terrible injury.

Happiest: Obvious answer is the 98 play-off final but I was only 9. Beating Carlisle to finally get out of League One.

Saddest: Probably losing to Bolton in the fa cup quarter finals in 2000, we pissed Division 1 that year and did the double over Bolton but missed out on that trip to Wembley. I was gutted.

Angriest: Our first season in League One and our first away game was Leyton Orient, went downstairs to get a hot dog, get given said hot dog with no onions so I asked for some, 'we don't have any onions' was the reply. I was fuming! 'Welcome to fucking League One' I thought to myself.

There's quite a lot I could have picked to be fair, losing to Peterborough in the play-offs. Losing 4-2 to Subderland. Winning the JPT and League 2.

Losing in the play offs again to Shrewsbury. Tore Andre Flo, but this was the happiest season and that game against PNE really pissed me off.

Happiest:
It should be 1975/ 76 when we were elevated to the top table for the first time in 65 years but, although I was there when Clive Whitehead scored to get us up, I was too young to understand so I will plump for Anfield 1994. What an amazing night that was. When the Kop stood and applauded our little club, I just thought it reeked of class. A wonderful night.
Saddest:
Northampton away. 1982. We got battered, 6 or 7 -1, I think but it was the last game our club might EVER play. I bunked off school to go as we were due to be wound up in the high court at 11am the following day. Northampton had no idea what to do with the away support (it was division 4 FFS) and we literally took the whole ground over. A very, very emotional evening which I will NEVER forget. It was, at the time, Bristol City's last game.
Angriest:
Football wise, the Brighton play off final. We were disgraceful and I nearly gave up but it doesn't come close for me.
For me it has to be the Brentford play off game away in 1997 when a load of their fans attacked myself, a mate and his 12 year old son after the game. It caused my wife to have a miscarriage (after 18 weeks) after visitng me in hospital, my mates wife was hospitilised after she saw the wreck they left her bloke in and you cannot imagine what the 12 year old was like. Those bastards beat us to a pulp!
I'm sure, reading this, you will understand why I fu****g hate Brentford FC and wish nothing but disaster to that bloody horrible club and every single bastard supporter of it!! (you asked, I answered).

Ciderup, you've confused me.. Wasn't that game just before we could have been wound up against Newport not Northampton? I remember my old man telling me about it. Cardiff turned up to wish us so long and farewell. :err:

Anyway, happiest has to be Liverpool away for me too. Bunked off school as a 10 year old to go up with my dad and brother. Felt on top of the world to see us beat the team that half of my classmates supported! :ffs:

Saddest was the 2004 playoff final vs Brighton. I'd had the year from hell and really needed something to smile about.. as it was, we put in the most gutless toothless performance of the season which was just the big fat cherry on top of the dog turd that was my life at the time.

Angriest, QPR away in about 2008. Came out of the pub in good time, only to be held up in a police escort for almost an hour. I'd paid about 30 squid for a ticket and the pigs were taking great pleasure in delaying us as much as possible. I missed 40 minutes of the first half.. We were 2-0 down by the time I got into the ground and conceded a third shortly after half time. I wrote an angry letter to the Met Police but got no reply.

It was indeed Newport Luke. Where Northampton came from I have no idea. I was 14 at the time and have never seen so many grown men in tears before or since. It was horrible!
