Not going to this one, got other things on but I'd have liked to, never been before so would have been another one chalked off.

As for the game, think it will be close but I'm struggling to see us score and can we really go two games without conceding, no I'd say so with that I'm going for a 1-0 defeat.

Safe journey for those travelling up.

1-0 loss for me as well, and an absolutely savage hangover on Sunday.

As we seem to swing between ''We're staying up, easy. Chill Winston'' to ''we lost to who?! We're screwed. Utterly screwed'' on a match by match basis, we will lose to Hartlepool tomorrow.

And stuff* Bury next week.

*Stuff them 1-1 or 0-0.

0-0. And I'll be a happy man. We'll bore the life out of Hartlepool.

Things are on the up here, cheap deal means around 4000 expected, Weather or not you think that is a lot , it does affect parking, so get here earliyish if your coming up, there's a small council car park behind our big stand which is cheap , that then gives you the choice of the Mill House Pub or the Corner Flag for drinks, if you want some food the Marina is 10 min walk, and anyone coming by train make sure you have a pint in the station real ale bar, it's only round the corner from the ground so you can do that on foot. The natives are friendly

It'll be freezing. The wind from the North Sea will chill you and your players to the bone. The supporters will be friendly until 2.59 and then you'll get complete hostilty until 5 o'clock. We only sell pies infected with salmonela in the away end and the beer has aresnic in it. The away seats have homeless spikes embedded in them. It goes dark at 3.10pm but we have night vision in our defence and we don't turn the floodlights on before four o'clock and that dazzles your players.

If I was a Cambridge supporter I'd leave it alone.

Then after all of that you have to think about Mr Muttley. Just look at what he did to Millwall. :2thumb:

Keep it quiet, but I think Hartlepool will survive.

No change from last week for us, reasonably happy with that. Same result as last week would do for me.

Come on U's.

I didn't dare predict a score before the game but get in!!

Again another superb result. Good performance to go with it too. Could have had another with a couple of chances second half but ther longer the game went on the more nervy we looked. 8 mins of added time to endure was absolute torture.

Great to see 5000 there today and on that showing I think a few will come back next home game.

Massive well done to the Pools. I wish I had Sky to see Jeff Stelling's reaction. After suffering another poor performance from Chester, I have to look to this fairy tale to keep my spirits up.

No Jeff on soccer Saturday today unfortunately.

Might have to wait until the next game to see another brilliant reaction (hopefully).

How did Hugill get on? seems he has some claim to one of your goals but it was awarded to someone else.

Worked his socks off, strong presence, good touch and link up play. Think he got the final touch on walkers header but not too sure. Went off with cramp after about 85 mins.

Good to hear, I think he will benefit being back in the North East, doesn't sound like it worked out for him at Tranmere.

He played really well, chased down everything and won most headers , can't see defenders looking forward to playing him, I think the ball was over the line when he touched it, a good example though of him following everything, almost scored just before half time with a rocket like volley that just missed the bar

He looks a better player than Ryan Bird to me. Bird I think we could get permanent but Hugill could play higher than L2

Poolies deserved 3 points and should have momentum and team spirit to get a couple more wins - but I hope we're not depending on them to turn over Carlisle on the last day, especially if they don't need points. Enjoyable day out and atmosphere, spoiled only by a dire clueless performance from team and manager. The fixture list means we both have a rollercoaster to deal with over the next few weeks and 'pool are in a better frame of mind for it.

Emotional support for Simon Dobbin on 41 minutes.

Warmest Teesside wind I've experienced. Rat Race is in the running for pub of the season. I wish I could have been more pleased to see so many smiling faces on the streets after the warm welcome we received. Big matches against the 3 teams just above us coming up but we need to get something from promotion candidates this weekend if our messageboard is not to go into meltdown.

Our manager is a moron, our players are shit, and I can't wait for this fucking season to be over, I just pray we end it on the right side of the line somehow.

Well obviously a very disappointing result and judging by the comments of those who went, an awful performance, especially 2nd half.

I just get the impression our manager has lost interest, I wonder what actual work goes on the training pitch during the week, I could go on but won't, we're just shit.

He said Teesside! .....Despite some bits of Hartlepool Borough have the river Tees lapping on its shores , the locals refuse to be known as Teessiders- I live in Stockton Borough 500 yards from the Hartlepool Borough sign ( if I walk across a field ) the only thing wrong with Teesside is Middlesbrough , particularly central Middlesbrough , and that is the reason most Teessiders don't use Teesside
