No but me nan said she saw one float past a bus stop when she was younger. Funny how no one ever sees a ghost in a tracksuit, they're always victorian.

Either that or they're famous. Nobody ever sees Dave who ran the chippy in the 1980s but died of heart failure.

I'm often woken at an ungodly hour by a horrible clanging noise coming from somewhere outwith my bedroom. It's a noise unlike any I've heard before and almost impossible to describe. If I had to try though, I'd say it's like a bloke hitting an old fridge with a hammer.

Its source always remained a mystery.

Things got weird when I was looking through some old photos. I'd only taken this one because it kinda reminded me of the view from Jimmy Stewart's apartment in the film 'Rear Window', but on closer inspection, I saw something else.

I asked some of the neighbours if they knew who or what this apparition was. Spooked, they told me that, yes, there was once a man who lived here and hit shit with a hammer all day, often starting at fucking 7am. But not anytime recently.

The poor soul had passed on a few years ago when a beef tomato hit him square in the temple.

I'd be so tempted to throw a ghost chili pepper directly at his head from that vantage point.

How can you see something that doesn't exist?

That's another debate categorically SLAMMED SHUT by Pagnell.

No man can look better with long hair than he can with short hair and ghosts don't exist.

I do agree with him on one of those but I for one value a healthy debate. Except when it comes to the flat earth debate. JohnnyTodd has so completely destroyed Silkyman that I don't think the word "healthy" can be used in that case.

They could use you over in the U.S to put an end to the circus sideshow debates between Trump and Clinton, mate.

When it comes to SPECTRES I'm rather of the DES'REE SCHOOL OF THOUGHT in that I really DO NOT WISH TO. It would no doubt be preferable to consume some SLICED BREAD that has been NICELY BROWNED by exposure to RADIANT HEAT

They don't see him.

But if you close your eyes on a cold, wintry Friday evening you can sometimes catch a hint of chip fat in the air...

This reminded me of the end of Ernie, the fastest milkman where he haunts Ted and Sue after being killed by a pork pie and a rock cake.
