Hednesford Town - Not Playing 2023/24 Season

It is with huge sadness that we write to confirm that the prospective new owner and chairman has withdrawn from the takeover late this afternoon.

Due to recent meetings with the League & the FA, the timing of this means that unfortunately, Hednesford Town FC will be unable to play in the 23/24 season.

All options will now be explored to try and ensure Hednesford Town FC can restart for the following season.

Hednesford Town were suppose to be put into the Northern Premier League Division 1 West but seems like the league will be 1 short, really feel sorry for the fans of Hednesford right now through all of this!

Another revival Droysden have officially been accepted back into football in north west counties league. They just pulled out the leagues and stopped during covid times

Dave pace STILL going to be manager there he seems to have been chairman and manager forever

Did they ever finish that main stand they started in the mid 90's? Looked like it would be ok but was never finished whenever i went over there. That was last about 2000, mind you....
