I'm Dave, a 37 year old Burton supporter.

I'm currently accessing the forum from work and having a bit of a skive. Had one or two lurks around here in the past and finally decided to sign up and get involved...at 1am on a Tuesday morning. Perfectly acceptable behaviour.

I bet you can't believe how quickly you've risen through the leagues? Burton really have shown every team down in non league how to do it properly without bankrolling their way in.

Yeah, it's preposterous really. I first started watching us when we were playing the likes of Marine, Vauxhall Motors and Lancaster City. I remember thinking promotion to the Conference was the "promised land" but the steps we've made since then have been beyond our wildest dreams.
