Some interesting defending by Eastleigh in that game. Looks like they squandered some gilt edged chances as well.

Good sound from the Lincoln fans. Yellow army.

What's with the Butlins red coat with the big flag? Is that part of the Vision?

Highlights from FGR 4 - 0 Barrow

Word of warning to everyone who hasn't had to play host to Barrow so far this season, nearly all of you, some of their fans do not take defeat graciously.

Couple of brilliant things in thay video. The woman in black and the fat bloke obviously hurling abuse at the FGR players (particularly strange after the second goal) and the sign that says 'sustainability in sport' which I love.

Skip to 1:30 on those FGR v Barrow highlights for the single best moment of the season so far.

A lad in white behind the goal is so completely outraged by the decision that he feels he must beckon what are presumably 'the boys' to come and sort things out. Subsequently a fat bastard in a grey hoodie comes waddling down the steps looking very much ready to protest, moobs flying all over the shop. He actually lets himself down by introducing an extremely camp jog on the way down, which he will probably count as a workout. And there's also a rancid, horrible bitch running about the place and a few others literally frothing at the mouth also.

For the record, it is indeed a penalty and a red card.

:lol: that is indeed fantastic. Props to whoever is in charge of the highlights at FGR for concentrating so much on the away end.

For the record, I think a red card is a little harsh for that.

There should definitely be a 'Barrow away end' YouTube channel if that is what we can expect week on week.

I am pretty sure that I saw the same bloke with the grey hoodie outside the ground after the final whistle trying to pick a fight with one of their own supporters. Fair point about the woman running around giving abuse to anyone within earshot, she has some pretty severe anger management issues. According to some posts on our forum there was a bit of an incident, that I did not see, involving some Barrow fans and one of ours outside the ground. The result of this appears to have been a hysterical five year old who doesn't want his dad to take him to football ever again. Most of you on here support teams way closer to Barrow than the West Country, so it is probably reasonable to suggest that they will bring even more "supporters" when they play against you...good luck, I hope they behave themselves!

My immediate thought yesterday, seeing the incident in real time, was that it was a penalty and probably a red card. On reflection, having seen the replay, definitely a penalty but I think the red card was a bit harsh.

Ah good old Barrow fans. Those that believe monkey noises are not racist.

Brilliant, think we could all have our favourite moments from that clip, mine's the other fat guy, the last one down who nearly belly flops the steward and then goes bonkers as the penalty is about to be taken.

Yeah, it's nice that Forest Green fans are slating the Barrow fans for abusing FGR fans but then also saying its because they're from the north and live impoverished lifestyles.

Well, one of them said that, to be accurate. He promptly got ridiculed by the other FGR fans.

It's alright, they are all West country bumpkins mortally afraid of hill fog.

These highlights don't really do our domination and great passing play justice

it was the extremely inept (even by Conference standards) referee - and in particular the 1st sending off decision (now rescinded) that caused all the issues in the ground on Saturday, I hope the incompetent t*@t never referee's at this level again...

Don't know if you were at BP last Tuesday, but i thought our ref (Stephen Ross) that night was excellent, let the game flow and a few fouls that could've been yellows he just gave the player a talking to and used a lot of common sense which made a refreshing change. It sounds like at FGR you had the sort of normal standard referee that we usually get!

couldn't make last Tuesday as i had an early start Wednesday - but listening to the commentary I have to agree - unfortunately that seams to be a rare occurrence at this level - some things don't change.....
