Yep, we've had reds for things similar in the past. The way its gone, I think that is a red these days. Doesn't show on the highlights that Fyfield was lucky to escape a red when pulling a player back on the halfway when he had the whole half to run into. And with Belford in goal, that means Fyfield denied a certain goal.

Haha! Poor lad, he didn't have a prayer for the first goal, the second he might have tried to punch clear and the third I can only assume he thought was going wide, which with our finishing would be correct 99% of the time :D

No need for the Guiseley player to go to ground there, had complete control of the ball!

Apparently they have to supply the manager a DVD for analysis, but they can stop us uploading content in the public domain. According to our media officer we could have paid them £80 for the rights to record our own footage but I can understand why we didn't do that.

All other clubs should return the favour to B-Wood and not let them upload to their site.

Interestingly it would see Dover are also in on it. They apparently want to charge the club £100 for a DVD of tomorrows game for public highlights (and additionally don't offer facilities for away commentary).

Should not be allowed to happen at this level.

The referee should feel ashamed of that red card, awful decision. Almost as ashamed as our right back for the two Vose goals.

There really should be a limit on how many speech impediments a commentator is allowed...

"Wovvery scored on fwee minutes"
Wouldn't be so bad if he didn't talk shite: "he'll fank his lucky socks"!!!!

I didn't notice any of the football, so can't comment.

For me that's not a red card. The Guiseley player was playing the ball, not making a tackle and Carrington just ran into his foot as the pass was being made.

Just seen this weeks highlights. Woking's 'penalty' was outside the area anyway, but clearly a foul.

Have they heard of lawnmowers down in Dover?

Great free kick by Halifax for the opening goal (not a foul for me but hey ho) a crazy back header from Lawler gifting the second, two class finishes from Boyes for Guiseley and a criminal miss from Craddock. Top draw keeping all game from Drenchy, he was superb.

Can anyone work out why our fourth was disallowed? Baffles me!

I think he gave it for offside against the player who attempted to head the ball

Yes, that must be it. Not sure if he actually headed the ball or not, but if he didn't, then the lino must have thought he did. I don't blame him if he thought so as it's too close to call.

He didn't head it and the ref was far better placed to see that but they didn't even seem to discuss it

It'll be that new unclear rule as he's made a movement to the ball so he was directly involved with changing the mind of the keeper's actions.

You know you might well be right having watched it back again, Boyesy might just have got a touch on it. Bloody good call!

He doesn't have to touch it now.

If his movement towards the ball could wrongfoot the keeper etc. then he's interfering with play and as such it's offside.
