What a difference a week makes.! Two home wins have pulled Dale fairly clear of the relegation scrap, another win tonight and we'll be looking upwards rather than downwards, perhaps...

Shrews seem to be stuttering along at the moment. Not totally dire ,but the upsurge in Oldham and Fleetwood results recently must worry them.

I fancy us to keep the momentum going with a 2-0 win. Holt and Henderson to score.

Ten home defeats already this season, with the last home win in League 1 coming back in October. Only Oldham have a (very marginally) worse home record than Town.

If Town are to have any chance of avoiding relegation the home form must dramatically improve in the ten home games remaining, three of which are in the next fortnight.

There are no reasons other than blind faith to suggest anything is likely to change tonight.
