Ballyboker was on course to place but fell with 2 to go, Zabana did and Un De Sceaux will likely win. Frustrating even if it would have been for pittance.

A day at the races for me tomorrow with a trip 10 miles up the road to Uttoxeter, last time there I made £100 profit, a repeat of that would be nice.

I'm not usually one to give a tip, will normally just let people know my fancies but Cactus Valley is my tip of the day tomorrow in the 3.25 at Ripon.

Has had 2 runs to dust himself down in May and was much improved in his most recent, he'll be all the better for the 2 runs and this is a real drop in class, first time in a tounge tie could be an interesting factor too.

6/1 is about the price which is great value, ladbrokes still have him at 10/1 which is huge!

Perfect Timing looks a good way to double your money in the 3.40 at Fontwell today (5/4). Should be hard to beat and has Fehily onboard. Will probably drop well below evens come race time

I did mate, but overall it was a losing day by about a tenner. Being bored at work and having money in the 365 account is a bad combo!

I've tried to curb my midweek gambling for a little while and save it for Saturday afternoons, difficult though. Impossible in fact with Royal Ascot just around the corner!

Talking of which, Al Kazeem has been ruled out, fantastic horse but I think he's finished now.

Someone gave me a tip, I looked at the odds last night and Persona Grata was 6/1 but I didn't put it on 'til this morning at 4/1 and it moved into favourite. A lot of favourites flopped today, a lot of winners between 10s and 25s
