Match Day Huddersfield v Brighton

Big game made even bigger through other teams around both of us continually doing well...

Tenner a ticket so 20k+ there including a decent Brighton following (about 1000 I think?), impressive from both sides for a Thursday night on Sky.

We've played pretty much all of the top teams away, only Wednesday and Derby at home (0-1 & 1-0), so hard to predict... it'll be a tight one for sure, all of our games are!

Not particularly confident for tonight. As ever in these sorts of games against the chasing pack, it's almost more important for us to just not lose it. And I'd happily take a draw right now if offered - expecting Hudders to be right up for it and we rarely win up there.

top 2 is a slight opportunity but more than likely it's Newcastle to catch, so brighton winning and keeping Huddersfield 5 points away with our game to come would be superb for us

Brighton have been woeful, don't think Huddersfield have had to work very hard for their goals at all.

Huddersfield looked very impressive tonight they took Brighton to the cleaners all night. Izzy Brown looks even better with better players around him i was a big fan of his when we had him on loan.

That was fucking class. I was a tad despondent of our chances after recent results from sides around us, fuck that, we're without doubt one of the best teams in the league this season.

Didn't give them a sniff barring the gift of a goal (a reminder of how prone we can be to dominating... and then conceding).
We're now starting to create more chances and score more goals, I think the cup games have helped us, 8 in 2 games, and finally been winning league games by more than a single goal. Quaner may have been the additional striker we needed, but it looks like Izzy Brown could be a really important signing.

Town were very good last night, for me they made the step up from play-off candidates to play-off certainties, the movement and pressing was excellent, Brighton looked as beatable as the other week when we blew it but still remain favourites for the Premier League.

We were awful, Huddersfield seriously impressive. Please can you repeat that on Sunday?

Been a recurring theme for us this season that our most wretched performances have come a) when Stephens is absent and b) immediately following international breaks & cup games. No excuses though, pretty sure we would've still lost that last night even if neither had been the case.

Got to put it behind us and make sure we at least avoid defeat in another very tough game at Brentford on Sunday.
