On paper Liverpool should thrash Huddersfield but they've suffered a predictable mini-slump since doing over City in a glamour tie. They'll need to get their feet back on the ground and quickly to get anything out of this.
Well just like the last time we played, Liverpool have looked crap recently and Klopp is under pressure from some. Last time we were pathetic, sat back and had no spirit whatsoever. We've looked like the worst team in the league in 2018 so far, need a turnaround but confidence is low so I can't see it.
Two losses after being unbeaten in 18. We really need to bounce back and at least show some quality, losing is one thing but we have done so in both the last two games playing complete dogshit. To the point where two teams in the relegation zone absolutely deserved their victories, which says everything about our performances, really.
Think we will offer something different in this one, and be back to putting up a quality display, or a decent one at least. I doubt it will be the level of attacking prowess we showed against City but it won't need to be. But again, I doubt we will keep a clean sheet for reasons I'm not going over again, but you know why.
I'd rather a draw then get the chance to put extra distance between Spurs and us by beating them in the next match; and with still half a chance of catching Utd.
I thought it was a shit pen. Keeper goes the the other way and that’s a definite save. Would much rather Milner takes them in future.
Good result thought started to switch off towards the end. Thought Ings could have got some minutes as the game was effectively over at 75m. With Sturridge gone, we need another option instead of Firmino. Absolute quality finish by him btw.
Big win and needed after the turd we put up for display against Swansea and West Brom. Hopefully this will give us a much needed confidence boost ahead of Spurs this weekend.
