More interesting game than it looks. Huddersfield tend to take us to the cleaners. They could go bust, descend into some weird league eight levels below the Ryman and be playing the reserve teams of clubs too shit to get into the Kendal and Workington Tuesday Evening League they'd still turn us over 3-1.

This could even be a high scoring game, with Wolves scoring two.

Prediction: 3-1. Afobe for us. Some player on loan from Barnsley to score twice for them. Or that Nakhi Wells to get all three. Attendance 11,782

Great win, but the down side is that I think it gives us false hope on how good we are, as I don't think were as good as the teams were challenging with. Don't mean to be negative but as great as a win this is for us (considering our last 7 games vs Huddersfield read LLLLLLL) I think we need to remain grounded.

I couldn't get to the game, so was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was the featured game on BBC Radio Solent.
Great to win, but - as the Express & Star suggests - the scoreline flatters us.

I've seen us play far worse but Wolves' extra quality was clear to see. You may not be top 6 but you're far from bottom half.

I think if I was a Huddersfield fan, I'd be worried about 30 shots on goal but just one goal to show for it.

I've recently come to the conclusion that possession %, shots on goal, on target, off target, size of striker's penis, away attendance, etc all count for nothing. I have worked out a cunning formula as follows:

X is the number of goals Wolves score
Y is the number of goals the other team scores
Z is the total of all the other good statistics for us (possession, passes, corners, free kicks, etc)
A is the total of all the other good statistics for them (Sorry. I ran out of alphabet)

If, and this is a big IF, X is bigger than Y, then Wolves get the three points and what I call "a win".

If however, Z is even slightly smaller than A, AND X is bigger than Y then the enjoyment value of "the win" is greater.
The bigger the negative gap between Z and A AND we still won, that increases my enjoyment exponentially.

In the case of matches played against Arsenal, Chelsea or Man Utd, note that if X is greater than Y, or X and Y are equal, play continues until some c**t pops up and increases Y by 1.
