Will the Tigers be missed then?

Presume QPR won't be!

Hull City voted top Premier League away-day experience by fans
Relegated Hull City were top of the Premier League when it came to entertaining away fans last season.

A Football Supporters' Federation survey rated the Tigers top with fellow relegated side QPR at the bottom.

Nearly 4,000 fans in all four professional divisions of English football took part.

They were asked to rate transport links, turnstiles, stadium layout, food and drink, view of the pitch and security.

Price of a match ticket was deemed "important" by 45% of respondents for determining whether or not fans attended an away game, as was time of kick-off (53%) and distance of travel (52%).

Liverpool are ranked in the bottom three. Interesting.

Surely some of this must be based on the fact that away at Hull you are likely to see your team victorious?

The criteria for these things are a bit shit. Other than prices and view the rest (pies and turnstiles) are pointless.

Hull probably won because most away fans went home happy after burning them to the ground.

Worst I have ever seen. Hull and Southampton are average away days!

Bolton, Aston Villa and Newcastle away are the best I've done. Everton one of the worst.

Making goonerz cry
Everton is the best I've done. Love that ground. I'm used to having a pillar in the way having watched 100+ games from the East Terrace at Barnet.

Newcastle was fucking shit. It's a complete sham that they're allowed to charge what they do when you can barely make out the players from that high up.

Anfield is probably that low because if you're near the back and everyone's standing up you can't see anything.

I enjoyed Anfield and Villa Park most, the worst I've done was probably Norwich.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Fond memories of being attacked by twats chucking stones in the first season at their new stadium because Macc had the audacity to score a late equaliser.

Best atmosphere in the country is Palace. People who disagree need to go and watch football on the continent.

Fucking hell, I can remember Macclesfield beating us 3-0 at home in our last ever night game at Boothferry...ahh the romance of football.

Watford is probably the best away day I've done. Helps that we beat them with ease.

You loved having Kyle Lightbourne on loan from us, too...

Macc never lost a League game there, or the KC. Quite enjoyed the League Cup win a few years back, too!

Bournemouth is an ace day out.

Anfield would be good if they could muster their CL atmosphere for league games, it's generally a morgue though so that lets it down.

I'd say we're a good away day, now we've left the Vetch anyway. Seaside city, friendly locals & a decent view with ample leg room.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
I'm hoping to tick off a fair few new grounds this season, looking forward to visiting the few remaining historical grounds. Villa Park in the Cup was good last season to wet the appetite. Goodison and Anfield, Old Trafford, White Hart Lane etc are high on the to-do list. My wallet and the potentially daft PL pricing allowing of course.

I'm sure folks will like coming down to Bournemouth, those 1400 who we can fit in anyway.

Nearer the pitch the better at Goodison in Lower Bullens (away section)Upper Bullens is better imo (if you take full allocation), 10% of all seating throughout the ground has an obstructed view. Like most grounds the atmosphere is shit nowadays because of seating, no swearing and certainly no celebrating allowed.
Pre/post match beer, i'd avoid county road if you win...lol

No smoking in grounds is a bit of a downer to me.

There are some shocking views at the back of the Annie Road for the away fans.
