If this doesn't finish 0-5, I'm going to laugh and laugh and laugh.

I reckon United will win it 2 or 3 nil which means I'll be happy and MM will be laughing and laughing and laughing so pretty positive all round.

I think it was a decent performance so far, some good play, movement has been good, Zlatan has been terrific just need someone to get into the right position. Fellaini should come off, get Schneiderlin on to protect and definitely Mkhitaryan soon for Rooney, I wouldnt mind Rashford either, I think the pace of those two could cause a lot of problems. There will be chances without a doubt, I hope we can convert.

Spent 200 million and all they needed was Rashford. Anyway gotta hand it to United, they broke the bus.
This is what all these nothing clubs who park all game deserve. Goal at the death.

Rashford and Mkhitaryan were fantastic off the bench - got to be in contention for starting places now.

We dominated the game but Hull defended excellently - was frustrating and fun in equal measure.

Haha Carel.

It was a deserved win in the end, was superb defending but the pressure paid off. Rashford and Mkhitaryan showing what we all knew that both should be starting in this side, not sure if both will with City next but at least one of them I hope. Pogba was frustrating me with his constant shooting, from the edge of the box I understand but these 30-40 yarders arent necessary.

This. Both of them made a fantastic impact, gave us more fluidity and pace which was desperately needed. They'll both play a vital role this season.

Credit to Rooney, he's not good enough anymore and he was shit again today but he done incredibly well for the winner. Rashford is something else though, nothing ever fazes him and he's always willing to run at defenders, glad he got the goal.

Definitely deserved, Hull made it frustrating but even if we didn't get the winner I was going to praise us for our performance in the last 30 minutes from when Micki came on considering how crowded it was in the box, we took plenty of risks and had plenty of ideas.

Can you say "GET THE F*CKING F*CK IN!!"?
We are f*cking back, this is the United I know, I thought it was gonna be one of those days, but this isn't LVGs David Sexton-like, pass it sideways, limp wrested bollocks, that was holding your fucking nerve, screaming blue murder, fist pumping, nerve shredding, never give in until the fat bitch is having a heart attack MUFC. Like having a fucking orgasm after two years of celibacy, and just as knackering.
I've got a headache and I need a lie down Now.

PS - hi fellow reds, I'm new here. ;p

The excitement here and on the pitch when the fans invaded the pitch...you would think United won the Champions League! Just shows how far they have fallen.

I thought we played well enough. Defended magnificently and deserved the point. Cruel blow to lose it late like that.

I'm not sure how clear it was on the telly, but the pitch invasion when United scored was quite possibly the most cringeworthy thing I've ever seen at the football. If you're supposed to be one of the biggest clubs in the world, you don't dance on the pitch when you score against Hull City - it's just embarrassing!

Was it more cringe-inducing than that?

I believe so, yes. As cringeworthy as many consider that to be, it's intended to be funny. We're mocking ourselves as we mock others.

Invading the pitch when you score against Hull City, on the other hand, doesn't even compare. To put this into context, when you were lifting the Champions League trophy in 1999, we had just escaped relegation to non-league football against all the odds. I thought you were supposed to be one of the biggest clubs in the world?

I'd have to say the two most cringeworthy things I've ever seen, in football at least, are the "mauled by the tigers" routine above and that video of American "ultras" smashing up their city while shouting at each other in fake English accents.

A group of fans getting a little over-excited at winning a match with a last minute goal, regardless of the opposition, would be far down the list, for me.

Of course it would be far down your list. Because they were fans of the club you support. It was embarrassing.

Of course it would be at the top of your list. Because it came at the expense of the club you support. You are embarrassing.

I'll end this now. It would appear by your need to now make it personal that I've upset you greatly. I apologise.

Steven really has made a fool of himself here. A terrible, terrible fool. I thought he had reached rock bottom when he rated Sam's Town by The Killers as a 4.5 out of 5 stars album, but now this. Very sad to see.

I'll also add, those wernt OT plastics, and that it was a half five ko on a sat, if you don't think that whole section had been bang at the ching and beer all day, you're mistaken, was always gonna be mayhem if we scored.
