Watching a football game now is like watching various cults try and out do each other in praising their angry gods.

It is one thing crossing yourself but all this pointing to the sky and dropping to your knees is obscene.

One day David Luiz or Daniel Sturridge is going to perform an exorcism or sacrifice a chicken .....

Strange thread. I have no issue with it, people should be free to celebrate however they wish unless it does harm to someone else. I roll my eyes every time an athlete thanks God/Allah/Jebus after he/his team beats someone else/another team at a sporting event (this is especially laughable after boxing or UFC events when they've just beaten someone to a pulp), but they have every right to do it. Just as I have every right to judge them there and then as a moron.
