Ones you've been to I'm guessing! Would've loved to have gone to Dartford last Tuesday, and Garforth that Wednesday...

I think I'd watch either our playoff wins at Guiseley or Brackley. Probably Brackley as though it was a less quality game, that's where we bloody got promoted! I'd wear a waterproof for the latter and a jumper for the former as they weren't comfy. Man it'd be boss to go to either of those knowing we'd go on and win it. I was an insufferable tense wreck at Guiseley but quietly confident at Brackley.

Home games aren't as easy to choose, tbh. The Pliny that came out of those two playoff away days is probably a slightly happier more functional Pliny. It'd be great to see us beat Lancaster City 4–0 with Lee Gregory again given the context. I wouldn't mind seeing the Ossett Town 8–1 win again for similar context: Gregory and Vardy linking up in the glue leagues, although we genuinely could've scored 20 that night. Even then though, that match matched the feeling of having a surprisingly good curry. Wasn't a turning point exactly.

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing one of my first games at the Shay again in '98 I think it was, with the old East Stand, terracing in the Skircoat and roofless terraces because Horsfield/Paterson, that magical season, everything like that. And Bury's promotion games that I went to at an even younger age and can barely recollect. Yeah, one of those. It was probably a queer old day out to the puppy fat version of me, but if I went back to Gigg Lane/The Shay for those today I'd be in bits.

Away would be our play-off win at Staines Town. It was a good match with a cracking winning goal and it meant that we were finally out of the Ryman Prem. A bloody good drunken night back at Kingsmeadow topped it off.

Home - probably beating Chelmsford in the Conference South. At the end of December they were 9 points ahead of us although we had games in hand. They had a poor run which meant that we were level going into the match a month later which we won 3-1. It was a full house with a couple of hundred locked out. We went on to win the league after just one season in it.

Tranmere
Home - Southampton in the FA Cup when we came back from 3-0 down to win 4-3. Easily the best Tranmere match I've ever seen. Bolton in the second leg of the League Cup semi final when we won 3-0 to go to Wembley a close second.

Away - Fuck knows, my away record is absolutely shocking. I don't make it to many away games but I've probably only seen us win twice in about 50. When we beat Notts County 1-0 to go top of the league a couple of seasons ago probably the best.

The final against Gateshead last season. I've never hated watching a game of football as much as that but the two goals were two of the best moments of my entire life and I've never experienced tension and jubiliation over a game of football like that before.

I went to a few matches in 97, but not those two.

I missed the Ryman Playoff final. Not sure I'd go for the game at Eastlands either - found it all pretty much horrendous until Kedwell's winning penalty kick!

Long horrible coach journey there and back and as you say, a horrendous match.

Home (AFCW) - Biggest relief was beating Fleetwood to stay up on the last day of the season but not sure I'd want to go through that again. Therefore going AFC Wimbledon 2-1 Crawley in the Conference. They were the big money side and at the time it looked like we could actually stay the course and challenge for the title (we dropped off and went into the playoffs). Evans had just put in a bid for Kedwell, who scored the winner ten minutes from the end - him and Raynor absolutely lost it (again) on the touchline.

Fleetwood was a dreadful experience. I couldn't watch it and I sat in my car and followed it on twitter and BBC Radio London. Crawley was great, complete with 'those' t-shirts, the crowd singing 'you're just a criminal' and waving brown envelopes. Didn't Evans get sent off that night?

Away (AFCW) - Hampton & Richmond 1-1 AFC Wimbledon in the Conference South, 2009 - we needed a point to be all but certain of winning the league as our goal difference was so superior. We were under the cosh at times but equalised in the last ten minutes before seemingly all 3,000 ish Dons in attendance (from a crowd of 3,225) decamped to Wimbledon Village for a spectacular drunken evening in the Dog and Fox with the players and management. Happy days...

I thought there was trouble brewing like it did at Bromley a couple of weeks before. Some of our lot were very hostile. I had my car with me so I didn't know that everyone had gone to Wimbledon. By the time I found out, I was too drained to go. In hindsight, I should have done.

Home: AC Milan - A once-in-a-lifetime match that we very nearly almost won. I lost my voice after that game for a couple of days and I will never, ever forget it.

Away: Guimaraes - Leading 2-0 from the first leg, they pulled it back to 2-2 only for us to win 4-2 in extra time to take us to the group phase of the UEFA Cup. The match went into Friday morning and I think may be the only time a match has been played over two days in local time.

Special mention for the FA Cup Final, the semi of 2010 when we beat Tottenham and Crewe away a couple of season back in League One where we beat them to end our 23-match winless run and celebrate it as if we'd won the FA Cup all over again!

Rochdale 1 Argyle 0, the best defeat I've ever witnessed, woeful game but remember dancing on the centre circle just after full time after safety had been secured. 2800 away fans, 1800 home fans.

Before you watch the video, complaints were made about that moronic thug of a steward, it'll become clear when you watch. Start on 2 minutes 25 seconds. Thankfully I ran past him just seconds before he did that.

Leicester 0 Argyle 1, a chorus of 'f*ck off Holloway' for the entire second half, lol, I'll post the video below.

The 6-0 play-off win over Morecambe for me. Just a mental day really that I still can't believe happened, To dismantle them like that, especially having lost to them only a few weeks early was brilliant.

Southend 1-2 Torquay in 2004 still remains my best ever day with football.

Also special mention to Cambridge in 09 at Wembley and Argyle in 2012 - over 2000 Gulls there to see us do the double.

How times bloody change!

When we played Southampton in the JPT Final, despite getting beat 4-1 it was still a great weekend and a memorable experience.

Leeds away a couple of seasons ago in the L1 Play Offs, 1st leg, we beat them 2-1. Kieran Westwood put in a fantastic display to keep them out, until the 95th minute. All went downhill from there and we screwed it up in the 2nd leg.

Carlisle at home probably, the year we last went up from this league, 2002. Still love Plymouth for beating Cheltenham that day!

Chesterfield away, chance after chance after chance for them, the best smash and grab I've ever witnessed!
