If you won the jackpot on the lotto, say £10m, would you give any to your club to push them on? As a loan, or as a gift? Would you pay your way onto the board?

A fraction of £10m wouldn't touch the sides in the Championship, so no, plus we're not in trouble financially.

(Yes, I know this is the League One forum but the Championship forum is shite.)

If we had money problems and were languishing near the bottom of this league or in League Two then yeah, I probably would. Although i'd want to know what it was being spent on.

I would, aslong as it was spent on the continued rebuilding job of our youth system. And maybe build us a 4th stand...

I'd want a board position. With certain members of the board (heh, shitstorm approaching) I wouldn't hand them a penny as a 'gift'. And loans don't get repaid at Crewe.

I've thought of this for years now. Alright, we're a non-league club now but I'm pretty sure I'd donate a fair whack to the Club and try and get onto the board.

We need a new stadium first, so I'd probably sort that out for them.

Depends on how big my win was. If it was a massive 50+ million on the euro lottery then yes for sure.

If Euromillions and I won say £50 Million then I'd probably buy Vale so I could take it forward myself and pump £30 million in, if I won a couple of million on Lotto then I'd probably sponsor players or something but would have to put supporting family members first.

Depends how much, if it's like £50 million i'd buy the club and the ground and set aside £10m for myself and dedicated the rest to the club.

Wouldn't give any to City, if we needed any extra cash Lansdown stumps up the load. Instead I'd probably give some money to the Amateur clubs of different sports around where I live, baring in mind I live somewhere pretty small so no big clubs around me for any sport. My cricket club I'd give a decent amount to, we need various new things and would pay for us to get a really good groundsman so the pitch would be excellent. I'd give money to my archery club so they can either do up our current indoor range or have a new purpose built one somewhere. I'd probably give some to the local football club despite not having anything to do with them, and some to the local rugby club where I played as a junior always nice to hear about local clubs doing well. There's a load of stuff about the council wanting to purchase and build on the land of the football club and rugby club with a project for them to move to the edge of town at a combined facility.

Sorry for taking this off football

If we're saying 10 mil then no chance. Probs get a ST in the posh seats and pay for my mates to have one too etc. but I'm sure I could piss my own way through 10mil

If we're talking Euromillions then sure why not.

Given my club is bankrupt, then yes.

Well, if I won 50m, that'd be 1/20th of Lansdown's worth, so would I fuck.

Yes, with the stipulation that it went into the ground fund.

Enough to be on the board but no more than that.

£10 million? Can tell you've not been in the upper half of the football pyramid. Costs more than that to paint the seats in most grounds.

Yes,if I had £10m to spare I would look at investing some of it into Crewe Alexandra.
Possibly £2m.
And I'd maybe sponsor someones socks too.

We're small clubs in this league

Only if we built a new Town End stand.

Considering we don't have a ground, tiny group of players and in 10s of millions of pounds of debt. A percentage of £10mil would do nothing. If it was a Euromillions £100+mil win, it would be great to go in with somebody and buy the club.

£1m would make a considerable difference to us (AFC Wimbledon).
