Interesting Venues

Recent posts pressed the nostalgia button............then I remembered a slightly more contemporary gig that was nearby.

My top 3 would be:

1. Dead Kennedys "supporting" Steve Harley at West Runton Pavillion (1980);
2. Finding a car battery to power the PA for Henry Cow (1972) in a room at Reading University London Road site. Therre was a power cut and much home-grown had been smoked;
3. Distant sound of the Proclaimers playing the Singapore F1 Grand Prix, heard from a nearby cracking restaurant (2012).
