We have Sam Magri playing for Malta next week in a World Cup qualifier. [could be playing v England in september!]
Any other non-league players off to play for their country?

None for us, but Deren Ibrahim at our level (Dartford) has featured for Gibraltar and conceded the fastest Qualifying goal (8 seconds) against Poland.

Jake.Gosling who is on loan with us is apparently one of Gibraltar's top scorers, including against decent sides like Poland.
Eta and Drissa Traore has represented Ivory Coast at u-21

Harry Panayioutou has only played about 2 games for us because for the first couple of months after signing, he was out in St Kitts bumming about on a beach, presumably. Has reportedly fallen out with Cox, seems to pine for Raith Rovers on his twitter account, and was apparently due back out to St Kitts last month - I guess Cox said no.
The Swedish keeper we had for a few games over Christmas was in their Olympics team and their under 21s.

Rhys Browne, now at Macc, played a few games for Antigua when with us but don't know if he's been called up recently

Was there ever a time when Wrexham players would dominate the Wales squad?

Recently as well as Gosling and Traore we also had Dale Eve, our second/third choice keeper last season go away on international duty for Bermuda. Keanu Marsh-Brown has been involved with Antigua and Barbuda I believe, and one of our academy lads plays for the Cayman Islands I think.

Only internationals we have here are the England C lot - Woodyard (Captain), Whitehouse, Raggett and Habergham.

Two of Altrincham's more catastrophic signings of the past few years were full internationals - Danny Higginbotham and Anthony Griffith.

Both finished their careers having played more for their respective countries than they did for us. Higginbotham played 3 games for Gibraltar, 2 for Alty, Griffiths had 4 games for Montserrat, five minutes for Alty.

Liam Nolan is a Northern Ireland U21 international, and played in games against Ukraine and France earlier this season.

Of course. Not for a while unfortunately. We've had plenty of full internationals over the years. Not so much since being non league. We still have a few youth internationals though. Also there were Five ex-Wrexham players playing at the most recent Euros.

Reading through this thread I can now quite understand why Gibraltar are the whipping boys of international football!

Higgingbotham was a weird one wasn't it. Seemed like he could never make up his mind.

"So happy to be playing for Chester I LOVE NON LEAGUE"

"Actually can't be bothered to play in a national league I want to join a regional one. I've always been a MASSIVE Alty fan so want to join them. They were my heroes growing up"

2 games in: "Actually I don't like football anymore and will retire"
