FIFA are thinking of extending the International period but having less of them during a season.
.
So for example games over 2 weeks rather than one I guess.

Think it makes sense although travelling might be an issue and fans could get really bored!

I'm in favour of it as once a month we have this unbelievably boring period in September, October and November which often breaks clubs' stamina and form. I'd rather have 3 whole weeks of international football and be done with it for a solid 6 months.
I'm also convinced that I'm not the only one to have such an opinion.

I'd be up for anything that reduces the number of disruptions and stoppages in the club calendar. If it means a couple of two week long breaks then so be it.

It'd probably help national teams as well, in having a longer block of time to work on stuff. Rather than being thrown together for a few days and two games, then naffing back off to their clubs until the next month when they're thrown together again for a few days.

I would go with 2 weeks at the end of September, thus merging the Sept and Oct breaks, a break for play offs every alternate November, and then 2 weeks at the end of Feb/early March. If friendlies are really necessary, play them in June (or November if not in play off action)

Another change FIFA are considering is a relaxation of nationality decisions. Although there's little detail as to what they're considering, the gist of it sounds like allowing a player who is eligible for multiple nations to switch nation if they've only made a few previous appearances.

Players should play where they're born/bought up in. Simple as that IMO.
