Fuck, is it that time of the season already? Our annual check up with our former manager and half our promotion-winning team and more mercenaries on a bench than a failed African coup.

We have won just 4 points in the last 18. And two of them were awarded by the Tettenhall Wood & District Gardening Society for 'Best Dahlia'. The papers have pointed out that three Championship managers have been sacked for similar performances lately.

So I predict a fairly historic 3-0 win for Wolves. You can probably get 50,000-1 for that result but I just feel a win in my stools.

Team (and I can't even remember if any of them are injured or out on loan at Tranmere)
Martinez
Iorfa -- Batth -- Williamson -- Golbourne
Coady - McDonald
Henry -- Edwards -- Byrne
Afobe

Subs...whatever, whoever, Holt, Kieron Dyer, Lady Colin Campbell, Le Fondre
17,011. Away section will still smell rank. Worst in the FL after Pompey.

Think Martinez is injured still, so will probably be Ikeme starting (full of confidence from his weekend clean sheet against African giants Swaziland). Would agree same team apart from that, unless we swap Coady and Price around again.

As for the score, we'll lose 0-1 in a typical Mick McCarthy smash and grab victory... how I miss those.

The attendance will be about 50 Ipswich fans, the other 1000 will be too scared to come since apparently all Wolves fans are violent thugs who attack away fans after each game.

Nah, it will be a healthy gate, and we will win by a huge margin.

Maybe 6-0. We have the whole of Norwich on our side.

Why did I think this was a home game...

Looking forward to seeing Mick and TC in those oversized luminous blue Ipswich Town coats...

Not sure about TB's 'routine home win', but I think we'll edge it. Nervy 2-1, where we're hanging on for the last 15 minutes.

Don't forget to give Grant Holt a nice reception tomorrow.
Is he likely to play?

He'll probably come on for the last 5 minutes when were 3-0 down. Kenny Jackett loves an inspired game changing substitution...

Could be anything to be honest. We're quite unpredictable at the moment. Wins over poor Rotherham and Boltons side aren't an indication if we've actually improved.

If Mick sticks with more adventurous 4-3-3 then we have a good chance.

Return though to his beloved 4-4-2 with two slow defensive minded dinosaurs in central midfield means it could be anything.

Disappointing to only draw after leading twice, the kind of game that we need to be winning if we're serious about promotion.

My god, did Glenn Hoddle become our Director of football? The brightest part of today was starting an actual left sided player in Jordan Graham.
